Gorat's no space navigator, so closest-looking is good enough, unless he clearly flies by a closer star.

"Ah. Perhaps eating these isn't such a good idea. Here, you may have it back; thanks anyway."

Jim gives the fruit back to the hand and wanders away quickly to see what other trouble he may get into in this strange world he's landed in.

Hmm, you know, there seems to be a few things missing from the price list.

Excuse me, madame, zer seems to be a theme along the price list.  It seems like we are expected to stand up and get shot, no?  I was wondering if you had anything a bit different, like say, a mortar?

"Hmm, you know let's forget about all these sexy toys I can't afford yet and get more practical. I don't suppose you've got one of those "special training" thingamajings regarding amp, stealth and recon, or a combination of the two? because really, I'd rather polish up my nonexistant skills instead of watching that gorram tv. In fact, I think I'd rather be experimented on than watch that fething tv." "careful what you say, someone in particular might be listening" he whispers, a slight tinge of fear in his voice "The rumors of the docs experiments give me the heebie-jeebies, but that TV...that already gives me nightmares every night"

Milno considers his options before going for the longer path. Unless maintenance workers were actually expected to go through the second checkpoint, he had less chances of being caught. The internal checkpoint, on the other side, had higher chances of being more through than the gate lazy check.

Longer path.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.

"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Gorat's no space navigator, so closest-looking is good enough, unless he clearly flies by a closer star.

You drift around until you find a nice binary star system. You drift through solar gases that are denser then iron and find your way to a blue gas giant. You fall through the gas until you land on a surface of metallic hydrogen.

"Ah. Perhaps eating these isn't such a good idea. Here, you may have it back; thanks anyway."

Jim gives the fruit back to the hand and wanders away quickly to see what other trouble he may get into in this strange world he's landed in.

You wander into a dark stone tunnel and meander around until you find another open area. It's pitch black, save for a few street lights that illuminate the path to what looks like a bar. It's hard to say, exactly, it's not much more then a black brick lit by red neon encircling it. A small neon sign above the door reads: BAR.

Hmm, you know, there seems to be a few things missing from the price list.

"Could get one, but may not be worth it. Most combat you'll get into is too fast and too close to lug a heavy, long range, open air, weapon around. Not a lot of use when you're stuck in tunnels or hallways."

"Not for the moment. But I could always whip one up, if you give me a bit."

Milno considers his options before going for the longer path. Unless maintenance workers were actually expected to go through the second checkpoint, he had less chances of being caught. The internal checkpoint, on the other side, had higher chances of being more through than the gate lazy check.

Longer path.

You follow the longer path, keeping your head down and your hat pulled low to cover your face. You attempt to look inconspicuous and avoid meeting anyone's gaze. You make it over to the maintenance door without issue.

Duck down behind cover. Head down into the tower. Look for something that could be used as a decoy.

Jim looks around the exterior of the bar, then heads in and looks around the interior of the bar.

Hmm..  fair enough.  I was more wondering the lack of laser-guided munitions.  In any case, I'd like to try some of this stuff out before making any decisions.  Is there a shooting range somewhere?

I feel like I may be working on poison for a while before I complete it. So far, I have around...720 effects to write up. So far, I have about 7% of that done. And thats only the first 2/3rds of the effects.

And then I can move on to the rest of the game.

Woah.

You really make your games overcomplicated, don't you?

Not over complicated, just lots of possibilities.

I look forward to the first person that specializes in dancing.

Note to self: start thinking of light-weight equipment that is compatible with dancing.
