(This may be a bit early for me to call it, but I don't think PW would give us something our characters can't use at all when we pay for it. So I imagine Jim can use it in some fashion or another, but it might require a bit of testing from the Doc. Which is a bit O.o but we'll see, I guess...)

((Well, he's said that ER is a hard world, or at least that the missions are, so it doesn't sound strange to me. Especially since the gambling man's wares are more or less randomly generated.

In other words, he'd totally do that. :P))

(Ain't Pandora that one planet where a bunch of guys run around the desert screaming 'there's no escaping merc' at attractive redheads and truxican wrestlers? :P)

End the simulation then begin looking to see if there are any simulations involving zombies.

(( Just watched damnation and retribution so im in a zombie smashing mood. ))

No zombies, least no real ones, least not what you generally think off as zombies. No living dead.

Medium Tommy - like me, but better! Who wouldn't want to watch that?
Ship Medium Tommy and Carlotta in imaginary fanfiction. Be delighted. Keep watching.
You are so delighted that you have a...physical reaction to this delight. Admittedly, medium tommy is very attractive.

"I am so glad I tried that in tinker. Nice to know I can deflect gauss rounds with my rock hard abs. At least the skin covering them. But, I guess it's not really skin anymore, is it. More of a carapace. So, the Breacher. I'll make it  and then see if I can get a discount for it or something. Gonna need a laser, those Red shells, and a power supply. Come to think of it, what powers our suits? They don't look like they need batteries. Hey Steve! What powers out suits?"

Call up a cutting laser, and a gauss rifle. See if the cutting laser can be incorperated into the gauss rifle's body.

((AUGH. Ninja'd by the turn.))
Like...how? Cutting laser is bigger then a Gauss rifle by the way.

((Dohohohoho, Robot Jim got a pill for his prize. Oh the cruel irony. :P))
He could always sell it.

Three soldier types, one with tank tracks, two with backward joint legs and two artillery types both with four legged chassis.

"Let the battle commence!"

Ok, did you want it more detailed then before?

"Hmmm... odd.  Where could she be?"

Wander the ship looking for the AM.
You wander around the rooms that are available to you, looking for the armory master, but don't find her.

((Poor Jim...))

Get out of the VR and see if I can fix the couch.
You look at the couch. Uh...you'd have to pretty much so completely rebuild it to the point that it would be easier to just build a whole new one.

((Poor Jim...))

((Not necessarily. For all we know, that pill gives him +10 on strength. While also proving to be a strong hallucinogen. Everybody wins! ))

    'Yeah, sure... The VR...
Say Steve, any idea when you will let me in VR again?

Also, about those robot bodies you get when you're offed on a mission: are those free? Or is their cost deducted from your mission payment?'

Ask above, then go take a nap in my bunk.

>They're free.

You head to your bunk and take a nap.

((Did you overlook the first question, or is this your subtle way of saying: 'Aww hell no' ?))
Pretty much. Maybe after the mission.

just testing the compound would be nice. as for the device itself, i was thinking about tanks of about 4 liters each, while the gun woukd be roughly the shape of a machine gun, only with the tanks instead of magazines. as for propulsion, either the tanks themselves can be pressurized, or perhaps an extra cannister of compressed air by the side of the device?
Well on a MK suit the substance will flow over and burn on it for maybe 10-20 seconds before it creates a hole in the suit. After that it pretty much immolates the user nearly instantly.

Punch his lungs out?
You're about to punch him repeatedly when he just walks away.

Denzen helped Havel out of the ring if he was still down. He then wandered off, an idea having just popped into his head... Fighting seemed to do that. He then pulled up Tinker in the VR. He then selected a monoatomic razor- what if he could make the blade longer?
Well, razors are basically just a vibrating monoatomic filament held in a metal frame. So yeah, you can extend it by extending the frame and using it to hold a longer filament. However there is a hard limit of about 3 feet because any more and the filament will snap as it vibrates.

Yes.

Jim reads the paper.

(Just for all those snarky comments, if I can't use it and Feyri still can when they rez her, I'm giving it to her. Screw y'all. :P

EDIT: It occurs to me I could just crush the pill into powder, mix it with some sort of liquid like purified water, and then inject it directly into my brain... Not sure if that's wise, but Jim does still have that organic bit of him left, after all.)

Hmmm the paper is a rather long and complex but from what you can tell the pill is some sort of "Permanent Painkiller". Whoever takes it will still feel minor pain, so as to realize they are injured, but will never feel anything worse then a dull ache.

(This may be a bit early for me to call it, but I don't think PW would give us something our characters can't use at all when we pay for it. So I imagine Jim can use it in some fashion or another, but it might require a bit of testing from the Doc. Which is a bit O.o but we'll see, I guess...)
It's purely random. Just like it would be if you actually picked something randomly out of a box.

Extend the blade out to 2.75 feet. Take a practice swing or two in VR. Does it handle like a well-balanced blade, or is it heftier on one end?

((Guninanrunin: I assumed the fight was over because I didn't spot your post. My bad.))

"Well, that was... unusual."
Timmy sits still for a few moments.
"Moving on, then. Hey, people! Would any of you like to participate in an experiment?"
Find someone and approach them. Pull out the Magic Knife of Blood and Unholy Terror. Ask them what they see.
