"Oh, I needed that. Thanks, Mr. Kickboxing Doctor. Here's your tip."
Hand Mesk a single token, introduce myself to Roger (yes, roll for it).

Bishop sighs and shoves the idiot next to him away before putting the helmet on again and going back to work.

How much of a weight, crushing resistance and temperature difference is there between both helmet layers?

"All my teammates, alive or otherwise."

Side Step Bishops shove, trip him over then find somewhere else to talk to Steve.

(He isn't hysterically laughing/crying at a series of injured people at the moment, and Roger hasn't experienced his "medicine" yet.)

Jim decided to table the 'new body' thing for now. He had to get the decompensator first, and then he'd have to get another 20 tokens to buy a body with... but the decompensator was far more important, since it meant he could throw as much force as he wanted into his amps and not have to worry about accidentally killing his teammates. He logged out of the VR and sat in a corner with his swords, taking inventory.
2 reiterpallaschs, a cutlass and arming sword as well as a 5lb chunk of metal.

Slam him to the ground and collar him!

[dex:2]
[worker dex:6]

The worker wriggles away from you and takes off into the building, vanishing into the darkness. You hear his bare feet slapping wet and bloody up the stairs within.

Roger walks over to the TV and inspects the knife catching.  He then looks over at the other two watchers.  "What is the going on?"  He introduces himself and asks Mesk, who seemed to be in a better mental state, what is wrong with the other guy and how thing work around here.
You wander over and start talking to the guys around the tv, mistaking Mesk for a sane man.
[speech:1-1]
You attempt to introduce yourself by kicking Timmy in the groin.
[str:2]
[timmy end:6]
[Timmy will:5]
Timmy blinks but otherwise doesn't react.

You give a token to mesk just before the new guy kicks you straight in the nads. Thats hardly friendly.
[speech:1]
[dex:4]
[roger dex:5]
"The only one who pummels my genitals is me!" You scream while taking a swing at his face. He ducks your blow.

Bishop sighs and shoves the idiot next to him away before putting the helmet on again and going back to work.

[bishop dex:1]
[jack dex:2]
Bishop's attempted shove and Jack's sidestep result in a tangled ball of flailing limbs and swearing that collapses and spills out across the ground near the VR machines.

((Yes, it's better that way. And the first book Renen read told that it is better to have more than one style of fighting and/or weapon skills.))

>Probably. They're bad news. Very good at hiding and very good at killing. Then again, no one is better at killing then the HMRC.

Jim sat and displayed the weapons. "Swords for sale! Cheap, but price negotiable!" he said loudly, still trying to offload his wares.

Roger steps back.  "Uh, sorry, I don't know what I was even thinking.  Maybe it has to do with the stasis thing?  Anyway, start over?"
Step back.  If he swings again, try to knock him down.  Otherwise, wait.

"Gah, GET OFF ME!"

Bishop shoves him off and stands up.

"Leave me alone already, I've got actual important things to do, like trying to make something that will save your life."
