Team B is a sniper with some odd attractions, an androgynous android with the mind of a penguin queen who is the subject of those attractions, two mad scientist BFFs and the final wily vet, who seems to be the sanest.

Now for a combat test.

Make two hostile targets. Arm them with monoatomic razors. Have them at short range and charge me.

Shoot the Crystaline Projector at the first one, and then use the Crystalline Projector's...let's call it an injector, on the second one in melee combat, aiming for the chest. Observe if the 2nd opponent is able to attack before he dies. Roll 5's on all.

You summon up two flesh dummies armed with razors and set them to charge you from oh, 30 feet. As they charge you casually aim at one and fire; it continues to charge at you for a dozen more feet before the crystals grow to the point that it can't continue, mainly because its legs fell off.  You wait for the other to close the distance and you two spend the next several seconds dodging each others blows, neither landing anything.
