Check the "search order" dropdown on the search screen.  Also, Toady doesn't develop the forums software, so this is useless.

That only works from the advanced search screen.
And you can not search topics or boards from the advanced search screen.

The search link in the Suggestions rules, but that dropdown is always available on the "Set Search Parameters" screen -- look for "Choose a board to search in, or search all".
