It's a shame that no dwarf can wear human armor or vice versa given that the biggest dwarves are far larger than a typical human, and given that adults and children will happily wear the same clothes despite the tremendous variation in size between them.

yea no the ONLY way you can get steel anything is spawning in as a dwarf cutting ur own throat in a city and spawning there as a human and picking it up lol

Why do Humans not work with steel anyway?

I could understand the "magical" metal(s) only being worked by Dwarves, but mundane metals and alloys should be worked by all people of industry.

dwarfs are like way more advanced then humans so they are farther ahead than them in means of smithing

We're talking about people who still regularly make armor and weapons out of copper. Despite their quasi-medieval trappings, humans in DF are barely out of the bronze age.

Currently, kobolds can work all metal, but cannot "smith", so theres no metal-kobolds, but they have any metal, including steel.

Thats hardcoded to never be world-gen built. So only steel.

You can make a new metal that is basically adamanite and remove all other metals from all other civs. They only bring that metal, boom.

if i took the time to do that i might as well make a new race while im at it and be the only ones to use it .... hmmmmm, off topic but do you think there will be magic added soon?.... other than necromancy
