Yeah I feel like embarking at a beach and making a tower in the water. At the base of the tower (at the seabed obviously) will be a staircase leading down into the earth from where I will put my industry.

Any ideas on how to make it ~Fun? (Not FUN or !!FUN!! or HAPPY FUN.., just ~Fun)

Only problem with that is from what i've heard.. some evil oceans' water turns people in stuff.

OMG IDEA. Get ice blocks, get a dwarf with a mood to make those ice blocks into swords, those swords should have the effects of the evil ocean, so one hit into an enemy should turn HIM into a waterthefucktheoceandoes.

No no no the idea is that the effects from the ocean (could be something like poison or boiling or turns things into thralls)
were transferred into the ice blocks when the ocean freezes, then mine out those blocks and get a moody dwarf to make a sword out of the blocks. So the poison water sword = makes things poisoned when it hits.

Hm, you wouldn't even NEED to have a moody dwarf! YOU COULD JUST MAKE A STONE SWORD. SOMEONE TEST IT NAOW.

What? I'm talking about being in a temperate place with a haunted ocean where the ocean has deadly effects, wait for the ocean to freeze, mine out the ice blocks, make swords out of the ice blocks, and the swords should have the deadly effects that the water had before it was frozen!
