Musashi Samurai Legend

Aeolic Guardian
A New Hope

If there's anything that game does right, it's the music.

Star Wolves shop music.

I really like the part around 0:38-1:05 where it goes technoheadbangy and screechy.

Also... Just about every song in Jets & Guns

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDiTeas-pIM

But that's probably because i like SiD Metal.

There are so many great scores composed for games, but this one just kicks all their asses :o :

Lone Trooper from Tiberian Sun.

Think I was about half way through the GDI campaign when I discovered how much better this song was than all the others, from then on at the start of a game the very first thing I'd do was go into the menu and cue this track up.  Slow start and without a traditional climax, but it matches the ambience of the game perfectly.

Prayers of Ganbo. Favorite track in Grandia I, but the whole game's relatively solid.

The Little Sprite. More accurately, the entire bloody soundtrack for Seiken Densetsu II & III, as they're made largely from distilled pleasure. Kikuta in general's just pretty nice, as far as music goes.

I surprise that we dont have this one!
Its one of my favorites.

It probably isn't mentioned, for being a real life song, but since that's used in Fallout 3, I think it qualifies.

VVVVVV(6Vs)'s music is awesome. Here's a link to get you started.
I know that its a 'real' song. but that doesnt make it less awesome.

Since this was necro'd, let me list a few more neat things:

Samples from Etrian Odyssey:
Destruction Begets Decay, random battle theme for the later floors (EO1)
Hoist the Sword With Pride in the Heart, generic (awesome) boss theme (EO3)

Recettear:
Lost World, theme for a few climatic floors

Battle Realms:
Better Days, Theme #1 of the Dragon Clan
Harvest Time, Theme #2 of the Serpent Clan
Fall of Serpentholm, Theme #1 of the Serpent Clan

Guilty Gear:
The Cat Attached To The Rust, Credits Theme (GG Isuka)
Meet Again, Theme of Justice (GGXX/GG Missing Link)
Primal Light, Credits Theme 1 (GGX/GGXX)
Conclusion, Sol VS Ky Theme (GG Missing Link)
Calm Passion, Credits Theme 3 (GGX/GGXX)

List to be extended at any time.
