Simulation Beta- Deathmatch RTD

Simulation Beta

As there can never be too many Deathmatch RTD's (and it's just about the only thing I can run competently). Lo and behold Simulation Beta.

Scenario-
In the not so distant future, a virtual reality simulator was developed known as Simulation Beta. This simulator allowed people to experience the seemingly real life and create worlds to do what ever they wished, they were handed the ability to become gods and kings and heroes. This was made public, and connected to the internet, becoming the ultimate online game. You have come together under an Arena Master only known as Spartan. He will have you fight in a vast array of battlefields until he is pleased and the chosen, will revive 100,000 dollars. Let it Begin...

Mechanics-
This game will function as a standard arena/deathmatch RTD. Upon every death you will go to the bottom of the waitlist and the person at the top will enter the fray. I'm thinking about having around 6 fighters in the fight at one time. The area will change every 10 turns with everyone voting on what the next arena will be.

It will use the standard d6 rolls where:
1= Epic Fail
2= Fail
3= Status Quo
4= Win
5= Epic Win
6 & higher= Overshoot where you succeed your action with some consequence.

Combat will be simple. You have 15hp. Damage taken is the difference between the attack roll and the defense.

Ex: Bob is attacking Joe. Bob rolls a 5, Joe rolls a 2. Joe takes 3 damage.
If the attack roll is 1 the defender gets an automatic counter-attack.

Over the course of the RTD there will be weapons and other such stuff that will have modifiers on attack and defense.

Of course there will be NPC's and random events that will liven up the battle as well.

Since this is an online thing just post IN and your username will be your title.

Happy Murdering

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

Depends on the arena. Some may be realistic (like a desert), others may tamper with the laws of physics (like a Zero Gravity Space Station)

Ah screw it. This is meant to be fun right?

So for the purpose of this: Quake/Tf2 Physics
