Pretty much anything by Ozric Tentacles. Coily being a particular favourite of mine.

Someone else in the world knows of these guys???

I'm going to see them live in a few weeks, looking forward to it like crazy.

My personal favourite is Focus - Hocus Pocus.

Chemical Bros. The Private Psychadelic Reel. First time listening to it I had gone about 28 hours without sleep on a road-trip, was watching the desert pass outside, and I swear it felt like it played through in about 30 seconds even though it's a 9 1/2 minute song.

Oxygene, by Jean Michel Jarre. The original album (that is, parts 1-6) is the trippier half. Just sit down for forty minutes and listen to the whole thing.

Always a fun song to have in your head; especially when either trippin' out or watching a tripout scene; or just using the mod in general.

Song is in link.
Okay then: IBenji - Boneless

Really what we should be doing is listening to multiple songs simultaneously.

If you're going to bring Jarre into this, you should have gone with Ethnicolor

Thanks to people for mentioning Jean michel Jarre, it sounds rather neat

also I am not sure what constitutes "trippy" but maybe something by The Residents or Coil would fit

Ho-lee crap. That makes three of us, then. Their side project Eat Static is pretty trippy too, though I don't know I can stand listening to Goa trance music long enough to buy an album.

Four, actually. I had no idea they were so prolific. I guess I'll be looking into some of their other stuff.

Five, but they're the sort of band that only has a few really listenable tracks with a lot of sludge gluing 'em together.

Jean Micheal Jarre is the shit. Electronica before there was electronica.
