2 bars of soap = 1x7 bridge
1 dragon = 1x1
2 bars of soap = 7 dragons?

Not magic, just really weird physics.

Btw, there is no difference between magic and dwarven science.
Magic = bending the laws of time and space with mere thought.
Dwarven overseers do this ALL THE TIME.

Magic = Supernatural forces affecting stuff.
Science = Explanation of natural phenomena

Dwarf Science = Weaponization of natural phenomena

This is in a fantasy world. Magic exists. Dwarfs don't use it. In fact, I don't think anyone but necromancers use it...

I thought elves were magical creatures... And dwarves could be the only kind of people who could create anything even like the bronze colossus. Who else would?

Yeah, pretty much the only people who use magic are deities and those learned in the ways of deities.

I thought elves were magical creatures...

Our Elves are different.

[AT_PEACE_WITH_NATURE_OR_SOMETHING]

The trees do it 'cause they're nice plants or something.

Make them need power? make them water-powered? something that makes slight more sense than "magic" please :D

They already need power. You need to at least hook a gear to them.

Dwarves appear to use quantum entanglement to link mechanisms to levers and pressure plates: they need to install a pair, and they need to touch both mechanisms in a certain order to link them. There is no communication delay for doors and hatches linked to a lever. Certain things like bridges have their own inherent delay in reacting to the signal.

The only things faster than mechanism signals are cat adoptions, trade negotiations, and loading pack animals/wagons, which can all happen while the game is paused.

The way I see it, Dwarves CAN be magical, but only when it's related to Industry and Mechanics.
As far as we know, Quantum Mechanics is just a fancy name for magic.
They can Quantum Link, but can't start random fires.
Or something along those lines.

This is a side-effect of dwarven animal training (hit animal with hammer until it forgets that it hates you, then lovingly cuddle it).

As in the Perpetual Motion Machine, Garbage Dump, Atom Smasher, etc.

Are you sure about that? (Thermonuclear dwarfsplosion, anyone?)
