Examine brain, trying to find the part that controls movement and such.
Also how big is it?

((I think I'm gonna fry this thing next turn.))
[med:5-1]
Hmm. It looks...well it looks like a human brain, just bigger. Otherwise though it's completely normal looking.

Ask Steve: "Hey, Steve! This thing kinda reminds me of the time we saw the Sword jump. (Nice sight by the way.) Do you think there's any chance this is a new jump point? If it was, could it transport me like that or would I need to go at a certain relative velocity?"

Second test: Use a pole to get a drone inside the aurora. Check to see if we get signal. If not, check the drone's recording.
Third test: Keep a pole halfway inside the aurora. Mark the edge of the aurora with something. Watch for changes.
Just like I did with the black domes.

Basically, you stick the drone in and it loses signal. You pull it out and the signal returns. Put it in, no signal, pull it out, signal. Nothing seems to be damaged about the drone, seems like signals just don't make it out. The footage of inside the place shows a fairly standard expanse if stone just like outside of it, with nothing in particular around.

Examine the... big thingy.
I wasn't aware Xan changed that too. Oh my.

The big thing eh? Brain or heart?

"Hrmm."

Turn the loudspeaker on.

"Have you seen a friend of ours? He was caught in the overload that created you. Or, perhaps you are our friend?"

((Damn. Osmosis Jones. Been a long time. Still remember the scene you're thinking of Sean.))
All the eyes in the room blink once, all at the same time.

Continue slaving away in the anomaly mines of Hephaestus.
Hmmm lets see what else we got around here...alright well there's this crater over a couple hundred feet away that looks empty, but logically thin air isn't going to make a crater. Heavy air maybe, but not thin.

T. gives a "So, we done here?" shrug.

Leave the tunnel, head to the sword, go see the AM. Req. a bomb (1/8, 1/4).
(Still have no idea how many tokens I had, and if it was enough to buy that suit, and if i have any left)

Quote from: Teal -> Steve (& biohorror team)
Kill it or leave it?
Heading to Sword to req. bomb.

>I don't think I'm going to give you a bomb. We're still cleaning up from the last time.

AM still ain't around, steve is vending for now. And he ain't giving you a bomb for free.

Or at all, maybe.

Are there any strange markings on the container? See if I can see the contents with my cameyes. If not, mark it on the map, and keep moving, making sure I keep a good distance from it.

"Hey, Miya, I found another one for you. Some metal cylinder. I'd be careful with it."
No markings, no inside bits visible, so...ON WE GO!

Hmm what else we got around here...Well theres a cluster of craters over to the right that are all filled with neon green, humming spikes.

"Mrow?"
Ask

The universe looks down at you and shrugs.

Close the container with the pollen, then very carefully place it somewhere near the elevator. Go check on that cylinder. How big is it, could I manip it into a container from a distance?

If yes, grab an artifactbox and levitate it in. Keep a good distance from the box and the cylinder at all times.

((I like the system we've got going here.))
You carefully move the box back near the elevator before heading to the cylinder. The cylinder itself is about as big as a waterheater, so putting it in a box is a bit hard. And yeah, you can move it at a distance.

Seeing that Morul is ok, head back to the shaft
You head back to the shaft and just sort of hang around, waiting to burn and or leave.

Next anomaly. Remember to chuck rocks into my path to avoid stumbling into invisible anomalies, and at suspicious anomalies as they come into chucking range. And absolutely no poking!

Spoiler: Gorat 'Chin' Ivanos (click to show/hide)

You find another crater. This one just has lots of small holes in it. Huh.

Over loudspeaker.

"Hrmmm. Okay, blink once for you have seen him, twice for no, you haven't seen him, and three times for yes, you are our friend."

Throw a rock in one of the craters from a good distance away.

T. succumbs to the existential horror that is living in a world with so many explosives of which he can't have any and begins having a silent meltdown in the armory.

and then forlorn violin music.

"Steve, can you keep an eye on me? Tell people if I'm missing for long or if anything strange happens? Oh, and if I don't make it, good luck with the revolution. I'm certain you'll do great."
Okay then. Here goes nothing.
"One small step for Flint..."

Embed a pole in the ground, tie one end of rope at pole, other at me.
Leave the drone to watch the rope and tell Steve to watch the drone feed for strange stuff, like the rope going slack or the pole pulled out of the ground.
Slowly walk halfway into the aurora, my hand raised. If signals can get through the aurora to my hand, try throwing a rock from inside the aurora towards the outside to see if  objects can escape it. If all goes well, enter.
