By namite you mean the thermite stuff in your flame thrower?

((Indeed. That thing is called the 'namite thrower' (napalm+thermite) after all.))

"Hmm. I don't think we'll be able to wait him out. Steve said he could dig himself out, so we'll have to watch our six just in case.

Unless anyone has a better idea, we'll set up our trap now then go lure him out. All ok with that? Simus, help me check for a good spot. Anton, could you send a scout drone down to the building to see if you can find where he is/went to?

Jim, any suggestion from you? Or are you ok with the current idea?"

Think about whether namite fuel could be used as a trap, and look around for a good ambush site. Check mental reserve levels.

Faith action: continue to use high ground for good view of area, keep cycling with cameyes and warn if any change in surroundings (like heat signatures from below ground or something).
That fuel could probably be used, burying it and then detonating it or something similar. Problematically this area is extremely open, so ambushes are going to be hard. You'll have to draw him back, into the building or an enclosed space.

Your brain feels better, not quite 100% yet, but better.

Faith continues to keep watch but spots nothing as of yet. If he's alive, he's laying low.

"I can try, Commander, but these three have utterly refused to obey my commands after I updated their software. I think I invented a new form of AI, astoundingly true to life - "The Lazy Underling". I'll see about giving one of them a kick and sending it to scout out."

Take one of the drones. Perform visual examination and basic troubleshooting (make sure the power switch is set to 'on'). Apply light percussive maintenance. Try to send it out to get a close-up view of the crashed building piece, and see whether or not anyone recently tunneled out from under it.
[aux:I'm just gonna give you this one.]
The Drone examines the wreckage, slowly flying around and over it. The chunk of building has been folded in half and the impact crushed it flatter and buried it several feet in the ground. You can't tell for sure, but if there was someone entombed in that wreckage when it landed, they could have tunneled down and out of it and you wouldn't be able to see it like this.

Sure thing. And no, the suit doesn't let me be invisible, and I've just the same physical presence as normal unless it's phased out. It's mostly automatic, really.

Look around for decent chokepoints to trap.

((Watch us set up, and then the amp dude just gravity amps his way out of the hole.))
The closest one would be the entrance to the main building. The nuke has basically turned this already wide open area into a barren plain, so there's no real choke points outside of the main building. Or somewhere in the nuke crater, if you're feeling ballsy.

"It's getting to the point where I'm no fun anymore... I am sorry..."

Practice controlling the Scout Eyes, preferably both at once.
I'm gonna assume this is a "Charge my brain for an aux roll" sort of thing right?

Well, keep on charging! Charge my brain like there's no tomorrow! Practice that eye-scouting with scout eyes!

move around the edges of the search area and look for professor x with my echolocation visual filter just in case hes bending light around himself.

If anyone spots him begin hurling lightning bolts at his face.
If noone spots him spend the turn charging an aux bonus.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

"Gah, fuck it. Waiting is getting on my nerves."

Go link up with my team. Monitor everyone's feeds with Steve and try to narrow down the area's that we have to search.

>I've got a few curious sensory readings. One being a Series of doors being opened and left that way, precluding it from being any sort of automated system, since they would close doors. Second being a strange heat signature, and the last being a loss of signal for a sensor array.

"Well, I don't know about you lot, but I think that the heat signature is a false sign. The SW's are too good to leave their own heat signature just lying around. Same thing for the doors too, in my opinion.

I'm more interested in that sensor array though. I'd rather go check up on that and fix it, as we could hopefully use it to help with the search."

I agree that the heat sig. is probably not the SW, but it could easily still be something that needs to be fixed. Heck, 'strange heat signature' sounds like a reasonable description of what I'd expect that amp specialist to be doing right now, so perhaps we should notify the Amp team about that. Similarly, the doors probably aren't the SW, but might be that UE that is running for his life. Maybe one of the hunter squads could check that out?

Which leaves that malfunctioning sensor net as possibly concealing the SW. Advance with caution and don't go alone would be my suggestions. I'll support you with the blackship if possible.

Just informing you guys of Steve's sensor readings. We suspect the heat one may be Amp related, contact Steve for details.

My poor grip of reality is not the problem, just because i think im failing to locate a powerful wheelchair bound psychic mutant with my bat powers does not mean that there is not a powerful wheelchair bound space wizard that im failing to locate through echolocation.

"Good news, Commander! It seems that he hasn't yet tunneled out of that heap. However, that brings us to the bad news, and that is that, as far as I recall, we're sitting over what is essentially a reinforced steel lasagna, and there's plenty of room to go down into the ruined shipyard. He could be right under us. I think we need to move fast here.

My recommendation would be to turn that pile of rubble into a crater, and see if there are any reasonably obvious tunnels leading out of it.
