"Does anyone have a spare laser-rifle battery? Otherwise I've got two rounds of sniper ammo, and it's on to punching things really damn hard. I'll pay you for it when we're back on the Sword."

Stand around, trying to get ammo off people. And waiting for my team to stop annoying command and start going to the prison.

((hope you get better soon PW. Nothing worse than tummy bugs. This probably won't suprise you, but I recommend some alcohol, preferably scotch+coke. It's not as though you're not throwing up anyway, and you may as well feel drunker if you can't feel better. ))

"The HMRC exists explicitly to handle dangerous and volatile artifacts and substances," she replied, her tone hard and authoritative. "It's never leaving quarantine unless deemed acceptable by specialists in that field."

Challenge Command.Continue being electrocuted.

((Do get well soon, PW. Illness is never great, but there's not much to do other than treat it and ride it out.))

[Team B Leader=Milno]

"I need someone to seal my suit before we move on to the next level, by the way. I'd rather keep this piece of rebar through my shin, but that wouldn't help me in the long run with whatever happened here." Milno said through the comms.

His gaze shifted back to the big guy.
"And what do you know about the 'Red Cough'? Is it an airborne disease or something?"

Ask the Big Guy.

"I'd rather someone else tried their hand at it." Milno comments after following Thomas with his eyes. "You probably know why."

"Well, Milno... She's fixed me up a few times before, so, uh, I think she'd be able to help you. But, if you'd rather get Kyle and Mesk..."

"I'd be delighted to practice medicine on you, Milno..."

"No problem, I'd be delighted to shoot your face off." Milno answers nonchalantly before answering Thomas. "Not questioning her skills, but she just doesn't appear to be in the real world and if she tried anything stupid I wouldn't be very happy. At least check if her mind is here."

"I'll reseal your suit if you don't trust those idiots Milno. It's kinda my job to do stuff like that anyway, so I don't really mind. Also, if you really don't trust anyone with your injury, then just pull the thing out and let your suit meds handle it while someone reseals your suit for you." Bishop said over the radio, ignoring the swearing and yelling coming from Faith. Challenging the military guys on the end of your buzzer was not a good idea in his book, he knew they never messed around when it came to stuff like this.

Milno shrugs at Bishop's suggestion.
"To be sincere, if sealing the suit was possible just by spraying that foam around the area the rebar went through, I'd be happy to keep going. It isn't really bothering me, although I could probably get an infection from it or something."

Head to Milno, take a look at his wound and think about what I could do for it.

Team A and B

Lars first addressed (Flint? I think) the datapad-man.  "No thank you- I don't need a reward."  He then addressed his leader.

"Saint Milno, the only replacement weaponry I have found is a civilian-grade rifle.  I have taken one with a few spare clips.  I can return your rifle if you need it, but I don't know if the clips are the same.  I will check."

No thank you on pistol.  Check to see if the looted clips will fit in the HMRC-standard Gauss rifle.  If so, pass Milno a couple.

They will not. They are a much smaller caliber then the standard military gauss rifle. Strangely, no one is giving these civies military grade equipment. How sad.

((I doubt compatibility with the ammunition, I think it was mentioned that they were different calibers.))

Head back to the group.

Anyone got an emergency kit or advanced emergency kit that I can borrow tools from?

You walk back to the elevator and join the growing combined task force for the purposes of prison exploration.  You Join the sub-committee in charge of looting.

[Team B Sniper: Thomas: Police Plaza]

Go up to Milno, wait and listen.

Thomas taps Milno on the collar before realizing it was ineffective through the armor. Instead, he pinged him over the comms and opened up a private radio channel.
"Milno, when you're done talking with him, could you share the info?"

((Hope you get better soon.))
You wander up behind milno and rest your chin on his shoulder.

"Tell me your secrets" You whisper while gently stroking his helmet.

((Get well soon, piecewise.))

Spoiler: A-B Teams (click to show/hide)

"I'm no doctor, but what they told us is that it spreads when people cough and spray little droplets of their blood around. But thats just what the told us, and they've lied before."

"Hang on Milno, I'll come and see what I can do."

Head to Milno, take a look at his wound and think about what I could do for it.

You head back to Milno and take a look at his wound.  Yep, that rebar went right through his damn shin. You could pull it out but then his leg is gonna fold in half. Hmm. You'd have to splint it up really well, and even then it's gonna be prone to twisting in ways legs shouldn't twist.

Snowflakes.

Butterscotch.

Team C and D

Stacy, Team C Tagalong, Right Behind Miyamoto, Where'er He May Be.

"We really should get moving. This is getting rather boring and pointless."

Regroup at elevator.

You head back to the elevator and Join Simus's sub-committee on looting and general pillaging.

'I agree with Stacy. The sooner we move on the better, we've got quite some ground left to cover.

Team C, finish up with whatever you're doing and regroup in front of the prison.'

Go to the prison entrance.

You head down the hall, clanking heavily as you go, until you reach the elevator and the door to the prison itself. You wait for someone to give the signal to enter.

Name:Flint/Deeper Scum - Team C - Main Elevator

Raise my shield and stand next to Miyamoto, in order to shield whoever follows us. Try to persuade the robots to participate in my possibly stupid and probably dangerous plan.

@Brain in a jar guys: "So, synthetic people, I acquired from some shady fellow back on the ship this 'Blessing in a Bottle' he called it." Flint showed the synthetic people his bottle of Xeno Spit, using his hand to cover the label. "It's supposed to help you when you are in danger. However the ritual is quite intricate and restricting if what he told me is correct. For example the blessing must be performed somewhere PRIVATE, somewhere AWAY FROM PRYING EYES. It also must be done away from active electronics. I'm going to have to REMOVE MY MKI to perform it. So, since I can't perform it on you directly without killing you I was thinking you could give me an object of SIGNIFICANCE to you, you know something like your favorite weapon or DATApad." Hopefully the robots would understand his not so secret message and Command would think he was trying to rob them or something and wouldn't care enough to zap him. "I would have performed it on ship but it last for a limited amount of time. I'm going to perform it to anyone who volunteers before we go to the lower levels, since I think it would be most useful."

You raise your shield and talk to the various "Brain in a jar'ers" about what is no doubt a brilliant plant destined for success and candy, not failure and punches in the stomach.

((Aw shit, hope you get better soon, PW. If you can eat even small amounts you're probably in the clear or close to it...))

((@IronyOwl: Why not bring whole bodies back instead of heads? You can give them to the doctor so that he can make you "pets" or sell them to other people. I'd do it myself but I have no IC knowledge of that.))
((Looking like a moot point now, but because I didn't think Faith knew about that IC either. Turns out she actually does, though; she heard that the Doctor is the one to see about animals (while she was standing near Feyri at the AM) and heard from Feyri directly that the Doc makes his pets out of people.

Space might still be a concern, though.))

Team D Leader Faith, Some Hallway Or Another

Faith began with fury, teeth clenching and eyes going wide, before her alien rage system calmed her down. It didn't do anything about her intentions prior to that, though, so she just sort of continued calmer than she would have been otherwise.

"The HMRC exists explicitly to handle dangerous and volatile artifacts and substances," she replied, her tone hard and authoritative. "It's never leaving quarantine unless deemed acceptable by specialists in that field."

Challenge Command.

For your trouble you get another thousand volt spanking, this time without even a word in response.

It's not as though you're not throwing up anyway, and you may as well feel drunker if you can't feel better. ))

(Solid advice.)

You start wandering around, begging for bullets.

"Just a .22 caliber sir, just to feed, I mean kill, the poor. Just one little bullet can go long way sir. Is it not the season to give...someone metal in their spine?"
