Okay, your turn, Miss Ferratum-Inanis.

[private channel to Gorat] Just in case - I skipped you this time (as well as the previous one) because you offer most firepower of us the injured, and I want it down here while the transportation commences. Don't worry, though, you turn is the next one.

Carefully tie the rope around Simus and prepare her for transportation.

Head up the rope with the assistance of the pitons and people up top.

"I think you should wait for the rope. There is no one under you to catch if you fall while jumping."

"Plus that's how I broke Simus' skull," Faith added, still sounding a bit morose.

Take a light and examine the entrance of each building. Do the ramp directions match?

Didn't break my skull, but you might have bashed my brain around a bit in there. Although, a part of that may have been my own personal weight from the prosthetics, as well as the fact that we kinda... landed on Milno. if I'd have been able to, I may have been able to mitigate the damage to myself...

Bah, it is still your fault, you did shove into me.

((Best way to land like that is on your feet, allowing your knees to bend, and allowing your hands to hit the ground palm-down. Transfers most of the kinetic force into the ground through your limbs, not your skull, though possibly at the cost of a limb or several. But with prosthetic legs, well, metal is tougher than bone. However, it is more dense, so I'd have no idea whether it's an improvement for this sort of thing or not.))

((Too bad Simus was hit by Faith and none of you had time to adopt any falling-friendly position. And your endurance rolls sucked badly.))

[private channel to Gorat] Just in case - I skipped you this time (as well as the previous one) because you offer most firepower of us the injured, and I want it down here while the transportation commences. Don't worry, though, you turn is the next one.

Carefully tie the rope around Simus and prepare her for transportation.
You help Simus to the rope and then help her tie it around her waist. Her hands are still a bit clumsy as she tries to do it herself, but you help her along till it's secure. You give the rope two quick tugs and step back.

"Next."

Keep pulling.

Head up the rope with the assistance of the pitons and people up top.
Simus rises slowly up, Milno and Travis pulling the rope up in spurts of movement and grunting. They get her into the walkway and help her get untied before lowering the rope back down.

"So...do I just jump?"
"I think you should wait for the rope. There is no one under you to catch if you fall while jumping."
"Plus that's how I broke Simus' skull," Faith added, still sounding a bit morose.

Take a light and examine the entrance of each building. Do the ramp directions match?
You take a lantern from Travis and check first the closest building and then the other, stopping to take a breather as you inspect the far one. Both towers seem to have their ramps winding counter clockwise up the inside of the structure.

"I wonder what that noise was. Hey, you up there, give us a smile for the camera! Do you see anything of interest?"

>Film EVERYTHING.

Oh, the cameraperson. Well, it's not like you wouldn't be able to climb, would you? Nah, just wait a moment. Gorat's turn. Maurice smiled cheerfully.
Tie the rope around Gorat and prepare him to be hauled up.

((Travis never grabbed any lanterns or rope light))

Travis sighed

"It's dark. My face was evaporated by Milno, so I won't be doing any smiling for a long time. You can, however, get in line and get pulled up the rope so I can get on with this mission"

"I'd actually do it again if needed." Milno quipped while grinning. "On the bright side, I saved both your and our teammates lives. Smile a bit."
