Still need someone to counter the griefers downvote spam. http://drawception.com/player/35989/micro102/
I could swear I saw an update being put up about flagging players that mass-downvote. Maybe I dreamed it, or it was posted somewhere in this topic. In any case, I'll upvote a few, but I'd rather not be flagged in the future as a mass-upvote-alt if that ever happens to be a problem.

http://drawception.com/viewgame/KSy2NBaOHT/feels-bad-man/ saddest game I've ever played in :(

O true I heard something about that too. Hopefully this will stop.

Urist McMason creates a masterpiece
Heh, I was the OP in that one. :)

A griefer just downvoted everything in a game I was in, and got banned a few minutes later. Looks like the update is working? (Someone could have reported him instead)
(http://drawception.com/viewgame/gjFmBC9hQX/the-late-night-show-with-abe-lincoln/, you can see his comment)
EDIT: I don't actually see any update like that(?), just nerfing of people with low scores. Would be useful though.

Oh geez, this game is the best. I'm actually a lot better at drawing, speed wise. this was pretty great.

I think something is wrong with your link.

Micro, I think they grief you because you add your name to the titles of the games you create... a fruitless endeavour which makes you seem quite pompous. Maybe if you cease this practise they'll stop too. I've upvoted everything by the way.

He's creating chains of chains.  That's how he's keeping track of them.

Yes my name has a number after it which indicates the order, other games don't have that tag. And that's not the reason for the downvote as it all happened at once and not just to my series games. This has also happened to multiple people and before I made this series. I also know it's the same guy, as only things that he didn't previously downvote were downvoted. And since you can only downvote something once, it's pretty obvious.

I've decided to try my hand at this - it's some good fun!

Surprisingly, despite my somewhat lackluster freestyle mouse drawing skills (curse you, straight lines, curse you!) I've managed to rack up a couple +s so far.

Nothing hilarious to show yet, although it's fun to see where things go (and, even more, to see what the original ideas that spawned some of the things that I drew were.)

I must say, people with tablets are at a major advantage as far as quality goes. I see (for instance) the first panel of http://drawception.com/viewgame/Df6HPBN7hB/batman-hiltler-and-a-carrot-walk-into-a-bar/ or the 6th or 12th panel of http://drawception.com/viewgame/baDqjgWtPz/try-to-draw-a-cool-knight-no-dolphins-u/ and I weep for my poor stickmen.

Yeah, a tablet is definitely a great boon when detailing and stuff. It's got a few annoying quirks, such as right clicking if you hold it in a small area for too long (I think that may be the tablet I use... So annoying), or randomly drawing a line across the screen, but it makes your designs a lot easier to control and detail.

Probably your tablet.

But yeah, a tablet does make things easier.  I'm going to see if I can get a hold of a little 3x5 inch one with an LCD screen in it.

Yeah, I figured it out. It was a think between Windows 7 and the tablet (Maybe), I just had to tell windows to stop the thing that did it. The tablet works great, now! :D

I'm used to drawing with my mouse, having used it for pixel art stuff before. My attempts to use tablets never translate well... I need to see what I'm drawing on to draw. I'm used to linking a mouse's motions to my hand, though.

It's probably just a thing of experience.

Yeah... I used to do Picture Wars without a tablet, but you had plenty of time to zoom in and do stuff and most of the stuff you did was a lot smaller. For larger pictures, I hate using the mouse for drawing. It's just so awkward and hard to control when you want to make broad strokes.

Of course, like you said, I'm used to using the mouse for games and browsing. That's more of a "get object from point A to point B" process than "make a nice looking line". I'm sure, with practice, folks can get really good with using the mouse for art, but the tablet's easier to do it with.

I may have to give up the one I use, though. It's not mine, so its owner may come calling some day. :P
