Doesn't the gem armor stuff require EMC from a klein star?
A full Klein Star Omega is built into each item, this is assumed to provide enough power for all eternity, more or less.
I suppose, but it breaks the rules that the mod generally follows which is equivalent exchange. Flying with the swiftwolf ring takes energy, why not raining down lightning bolts? I'd even be fine with each of them having storage equal to a klein star omega so long as you sometimes have to refill them.

The thing is, that with that much energy that is built into them, you wouldn't need to ever refill them.

In theory sure, after a day of real life time casting lightning bolts around you might need a refill, but adding it is really completely irrelevant, and I doubt that short of cheating or setting up hotkeys and running the game for a full day anyone would actually have any need to recharge.

Well that would depend on the energy cost of calling down a lightning bolt or destroying massive areas of landscape with the ground slam, but they added in the almost insignificant cost of flight on the ring so I don't see why they'd leave this out. I just like internal consistency from mods.

Considering the amount of feedback loops built into EE2, it's not really surprising. I'm hoping EE3 will be better in that regard.

I don't even know what I'm doing here with Terrafirmacraft

Like, I have bloomeries, forges and working on building up a Bronze anvil, but I'm just looking at these support beams, my home, and just

Where can I put these things? Should I use this wood or this wood? The color scheme between this stone floor and this wood is weird gotta try alternatives. Slabs or bricks I don't know welp

I mean I have tons of colors of stone and wood and wood pillars and I gotta build something with them. Seems the waste of having green wood if I'm just gonna live in a cave.

Also gotta build it on a mountain because these mountains be bananas.

I meant wireless (Conical? Linear? Radial?) sensors. Like cameras, radar, infra-red...

There is a laser mod which lets you do laser sensors among other things.

There are Thaumcraft2 seals that wirelessly detect from a distance and power redstone if detecting something; though I dunno if that's what you're looking for, nor how well they play with frames.

I tried using the no-mods-wireless-redstone (glass panels, pistons and a boat) and it didn't work - the boat kept going in the wrong place :/
Anyone know how to fix that?

Hate to say, but that's a discussion more suited for the non-mod thread no?

As far as I know the 'vanilla wireless redstone' thing is a bug anyway and unreliable.

90% of vanilla redstone is based around abusing bugs with the system :P

I thought redstone working at all was a bug.

I thought laser mod only worked with breakbeam sensors, keyable to item/mob/player/block, mob/player/block, player/block or block?
I was more thinking of sensors for a giant mobile Redpower Frames killbot with dispensers on it.
