Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Can anyone suggest any more mods? I have 16 block IDs left.

Could install MystCraft maybe? How is that installed? Into the .jar?

PS. I love MultiMC

Edit: Vattic Direwolf has released a video on the new RP2 release and in it he puts a stone panel on the frame and puts a wire on it and logic gate on it and the frame moves fine without them popping off. Maybe that will sort your issue?
Mystcraft is incompatible with modloader.
Basically if you can run Mystcraft, you're not going to be able to run anything else.

Completely untrue. I have mystcraft running just fine with a ton of other mods.

I've left Mystcraft out anyway, not that bothered about it.

I added the Laser mod and I think I'm done on that now. Now to actually play :D

except someone managed to get mystcraft to run with thaumcraft, buildcraft, industrial craft etc.

he's called forsaken on this forum.
Well then maybe you should ask him. From my experience with Mystcraft, when I used it, the creator made a pretty big deal about it not being able to run with modloader (and found out the hard way when I attempted to run it at the bare minumum modloader-TMI-[Mod] setup I use). I tried it, it didn't work, so I'm going to say it didn't work. Maybe it's changed since then, but when I tried it, Minecraft threw a hissy fit and crashed repeatedly. If Forsaken got it to run, good for him, maybe he should write a tell-all book detailing how he did it. It would be good for anyone else who wants to run it, and maybe I'll want to revisit it when I get a new computer.

Even when I did get it to work, it put my computer into a small coma after 30 seconds. Not fun times.

There's a patch to make it compatible with forge.

Ah I had tried it with covers not panels. Now I know what covers are for this makes sense. Thank you for setting me straight.

So.. no help for my texture problem? :(

Was posted much earlier in the thread. It's getting rapidly buried... Maybe someone could update the OP with this?

Ah, dang, no Optifine for 1.2.3 anymore on the site. Well, best of luck to you, but if you need it, I do still have that version sitting around.

So I decided to flee my house, instead of waiting for my barrier to hold the taint off.  I took some necessary things and hit the road.

...And for some reason, img.ie won't accept my images today.  But I found a spot with two monoliths just a knight's move from each other, and after a LONG journey, I found a rather nice forest where I couldn't see any taint even zoomed out to the farthest level on my minimap.  So rare!  Problem is I don't like forests because they're so hard to defend against taint, if I did have an incursion.  Then I started noticing it had quite a few greatwood trees, and...yes...let's use the Sword of the Zephyr to jump to a higher vantage point...two silverwoods!  One right next to a canyon, so I might even make one of those neat canyon homes.

I am happy.  I've found home.  Now I just need to build a nether link on this side to get to my old place and collect four chests of loot and all my blocks...like an idiot, I left my obsidian at home.

Wasn't there a moon mod?

I think that is the secret project for IC2, a space dimension.

That would be rather annoying, seeing as you couldn't build anything :P

Closest I've got to that is biosphere mod with zeppelin mod.

I recall, six or eight months ago, running across a mod that let you 'micro-size' redstone circuitry, such that a single block could be made to have an 8x8 grid of miniaturized redstone wiring.

Does anyone remember the name of that mod?  Is it compatible with Redpower2?  (I assume it's not, but it would sure be nice.)

More and more, Redpower2 is encroaching on other mods' functionality.

Tubes, power cables, power producers and consumers, an enhanced crafting table.

Why, I hear that future plans include something called Ziv, that can be distilled from ordinary objects to do advanced science.  Obtaining Ziv will cause pollution which contaminates the environment, but this can be combated with pylons and special goldenwood trees.

I kid.  (I hope I'm kidding.)

Tubes, power cables, power producers and consumers, an enhanced crafting table.
Eloraam creates her own version of some mod functionality because either:

1. She dislikes the way they implemented that function.
2. She wants to use the function in a way that the original mod doesn't allow. (Attaching tubes to frames, for example)

I have no problem with some mods duplicating functionality. They each have their quirks and uses. Also I happen to think redpower's version of some of these 'duplicated' features are far more useful.
