> It doesn't seem like a good idea to keep all your dangerous and fragile stuff in the same place. I suggest you house your lab in Age 54, which I suggest naming the White Plane, where conditions are easily controlled, and put your sleeping quarters, library, and storage of entirely harmless stuff in the twilight swamps, where the eternal twilight means no night to fear and a floating island can be easily secure. And it's also quite beautiful out your bedroom window.
Good idea. I'll work on moving my stuff soon. Setting up some more basic necessities for now, next update will be the moving and rebuilding of the lab.

Relocating your stuff sounds good. Also, consider setting up your taint research area on a floating island, so that it can't spread.

I have one more question, though. I use magiclauncher, and my current mods, in order, are modloader, forge, and thaumcraft. However, when I try to install mystcraft after that, I gt the classic "saving chunks" error. Do you think this has anything to do with me pulling it out of the .rar to a .zip so that I could install it with magiclauncher, or is it just me?

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

Good idea. Perhaps I could even intentionally taint a floating island to observe the effects. Shattered Lands would be an ideal world for that.

I know absolutely nothing about Magic Launcher, but I can tell you that I was not able to install mystcraft using MultiMC. I had to manually place it in the .jar file FIRST and then let MultiMC build forge and the rest in there.

Also: Updating coming soon. This is it for tonight, and tomorrow I'll work on relocation. This update I touch on 2 other mods I have installed which I haven't even shown before now, Buildcraft and Dust.

Now is the time to stop smoking so much, and seek out new reliquaries of occult and mechanistic knowledge!

Posting to follow!

I love not knowing a thing about any of these mods (although I have played a LOT of vanilla). Very interesting! These modders have a vivid imagination.

Its not obvious due to it being screenshots but the terrain is actually being eaten away slowly, falling away into nothing. Ladders wouldnt help really, they'd just break when the blocks fell.

Not entirely useless, if you notice the ice crust on top isn't affected at all. I could let the world fall away from under the ice and have a completely safe floating lab on a sheet of ice with nothing around.
