This is a different sort of game but I will take suggestions and ideas. All updates will be in the form of screenshots and journal entries. If there is interest I can publish the modpack I'm using later on. I am using quite a lot of mods here to provide some interesting possibilities.

Hehehe, possibly. I have a few more updates I'll post in a bit, just wanted to get this up now. I'm also playing on peaceful at first, but that will change on day 10 or so when I lock it to the hardest difficulty. I wanted to get a few things done before I am blown up by 12 creepers simultaneously.

Had this idea originally due to the tomes mod and the ability to keep an ingame journal and write other books/place them on bookshelves or lecterns. I realize its a bit slow but it will pick up.

Yeah I had that same discussion with myself when deciding where to put this. It is both a lets-play and a forum game, I suppose. I want you guys to make suggestions and I do have an overall 'story' in mind (as much as one can be told within minecraft's limitations anyway). You will certainly drive the story with suggestions of what to do. If you have ideas for the plot, you can PM me and I can try to make it happen. Basically you will follow the story of the main character who has been stranded in this strange land with nothing but some pork (probably) rations and a bit of driftwood.

If you think it would be better off in Other Games I can move it over.

Also should I spoiler the images, do you think? Worried about people with slower connections getting bogged down.

I'm taking some small liberties with time here. It didn't actually take me a full minecraft day to build that shitty little shelter obviously. And as I said, around day 10 I intend to lock it in to high difficulty to make this a bit more interesting.

While I like the idea of a suggestion game set in a video game I think you should break it down and wait for suggestions. Personally I probably wouldn't have wasted a day farming when you're stranded in the middle of no where. It would have been more productive to look for what is already around you.

As I said, it didn't really take me a full day to set the farm up or build the shelter. That is more of a narrative thing. Normally you would have to worry about monsters the first night, I'm giving us a bit of progress before we begin dealing with the horrors of the night. Trying to keep good pacing while sticking with the stranded feel. I won't be strictly following the suggestions you make as I have some idea of where I want this to go but I will accommodate them any time I can.

I spoilered the images. The journal thing is the tomes mod which adds writable books, lecterns, and bookcases which you can fill up with books.
