Kenshi, I've played the demo for a time now, and I love that my two people really can't do anything against a group of people. It's nice to see that one man can't go in and completely wipe out a massive group that is far beyond the capacities of one. I also look forward to swarming a couple of people, just for the satisfaction.

I've honestly been looking for a game where you can have complete customization over your entire party for a while. I was rather disappointed with Mount and Blade when you couldn't outfit your peasants with ill-gotten gains, but with Kenshi, that won't be a problem, since everyone can have their gear modified. I don't know why, but that excites me more than almost anything else.

As a side note, I just did a Google Image Search for a new screenshot to post, and I got my own avatar mixed in there somehow. I'm showing up on Google searches! I'm famous!!

Decklin,

Thanks for stopping by our humble board here. We are excited at your generous donations to our contest and I suspect it will drive more sales. We love it when Devs come by. Maybe someone has some questions for you?

I'm throwing in for Kenshi again, much for many of the aforementioned reasons such as total party customization and the advanced wounds system, but something that's really exciting me is the fact that one isn't able to annihalate hordes of enemies easily.  It really is a breath of fresh air in games of this style.

Oh, wow, Demise! It's a game I go back to every couple of years, though I never manage to get very far for some reason or another. I loved that you could lose some characters and go back to pick their stuff up.

Hope to see more of Demise goodness with this new version :)

entering for kenshi again..
Kenshi: "Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a mercenary, a business owner, a doctor, a bandit... the list goes on." from the description is the kind of freedom from a game which I would like. I tried the demo somehow does not work well, can't see the landscape, just the building. Well it is alpha, I am pretty sure they will get this fixed. Any way to report the problem to the dev?

Hail the awesome Devil Whiskey!
Brings back the joyous feel/experience of old-skool RPG's such as early Wizardry & Bard's Tales, but with greatly enhanced graphics (char & mon portraits are like paintings) and music. It also employs item-crafting, which was new for me when I first played it several years ago.. so that's a highlight for me. Gotta love a finely wrought Perfect Long Sword and the lobbable  Thunder-Hammer.

The Arena is a nice place to try out new gear, and the casino comes in handy when yer approaching broke bloke (send yer most fortunate fellow & spin the wheel).

Much appreciate Decklin's participation here!
Support small, crafty-unique indie games (vs giant factory game-mills).

Posting for Steel Storm again, havent played a top down shooter for a long time and itching for a fix. Looks like a really polished game that should keep me entertained for many hours.

Posting again for The Devil Whiskey, I really really like dungeon crawler games and dungeon crawlers featuring a story with great graphics to accompany them are just too good to be true. Looks like a game that you can keep playing!

(Surprised there are only a few people wanting Demise, I own it and it's really good, highly recommended if you like d&d crawling)

No stereotype high fantasy races in Kenshi seems like a real breather.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.
