I mean, I've got absolutely nothing to do, so I can sit here blocking progress all night. But the thread is a postcount booster more than anything else, and doesn't have much, if any merit in and of itself. To boot, it encourages conflict, and while friendly competition is all well and good, some people evidently can't handle that and do stupid things that (intended seriously or not) get them banned. That, and pony threads are taboo as it is, and any viable discussion which could spring from this would almost certainly be MLP-oriented. I'm not going to stop as long as it keeps going (because I'm bored, mostly), and I'm not going to report it, but if people are willing to let it die/Toady decides it needs to shut down, I certainly won't object.


And yeah, it is working now, drago.

If it weren't spam bait we should start a pony version of this thread.  When a pony posts, the count goes up by one.  When anybody else posts, the count goes up by one.

Any ideas on how to make such a thread not be spam?
