>>ask maldevious to sharpen it
>>look for padding to pad the middle and make it holdable
You hand the rod to maldevious while searching around for something to make holding on to it a bit more comfortable. You decide on a seatbelt jeeps. It's charred and smells like burnt hair, but it's still sturdy enough to hold up. By the time you finish cutting what you need from the destroyed vehicle Maldevious is done sharpening the metal. You a few minutes of careful wrapping and securing later and it's done.
>added to inventory
>Double Knife  (3kg)

>>What are you gonna do with that thing Drago? You've got 2 melee. Your skill is so low you actually have a small chance of hurting yourself if you use it in combat.

Knife and a stick eh? You're not sure how a knife and a stick turn into a bow and arrow, but you'll play along. You head to the barracks and check out the kitchen. You grab a sharp looking steak knife from a cutlery drawer and head out into the court yard. You gather some sticks from the trees there and then head back to the front of the base. Drago hands you a piece of metal to sharpen and you give him the supplies he asked for. Sharpening up the metal is easy and you hand it back to him triumphantly.

"so, how long till that bow and arrow will be done?"

You check the jeep and the keys are still in the ignition. Guess there's no reason not to...

You head to the barracks and grab the Ballistic Shield (12kg). Jeeeez thats heavy. [encumbrance level 2 (30% reflex loss. -5 stealth)] You trundle back outside and begin walking the perimeter fence, keeping an eye out for danger.

"few hours at most"

>>begin cutting bow shape

Spoiler: this is a bow (click to show/hide)

You begin trying to fashion a bow out of the wood you have. You shave the stick down into a rough bow shape.

>>You all got thirsty right about now, but we'll assume you just all went and got a drink from the water in the kitchen (since I am controlling several of you right now).

>Set auto: OFF

Tiruin mused to himself while staring down his patient. The man must be in shock, or afraid. Or just wanting to get his hands around my neck for letting him live as his allies died. Nevertheless, I was sure my skills in speech would have an effect. Maybe body language would get the impression through.

>Attempt to get answers to my questions using body language.

Questions are generally:
Who are you?
Why did you attack us?
How many of you are there?
Why can't we work together?
Are you going to cooperate or do I have to remind you I just healed your grievous wounds and other than letting you die like a corpse, gave you a chance to live?
I will not harm you as long as you are cooperative.

You point at yourself, say your name and then point at the raider. He shouts for about 2 straight minutes. Hm, guess you'll just call him bob. You point at the raider and pantomime punching yourself in the face and then shrug. He laughs at you. Hm. You point at yourself and hold up five fingers then point to the raider. The raider smiles quite menacingly and chuckles a little holds up all his fingers. That can't be good. You try your best to hug yourself and then smile at the raider, pointing your finger to him and then you and then back again. He seems very confused by this. You point toward the bandage on the man's chest and then back at yourself. You raise an eyebrow. The raider seems uncomfortable and looks like he doesn't quite know how to act.

You head to the garage and search around for something elastic. You find a short length of bungie cord in a cabinet and separate out one of the elastic cords. You attach the cord to either end of the bow. Some stuffing from the disassembled jeep's seat stuffed under the wrapping on the gerstafruand provides adequate padding.

>>also yeah, it's a knife, not a sword. You didn't have enough metal for that.

Yep, thats all I need. Not gonna just have you teleport in out of no where, but you'll show up soon enough, just keep an eye out. If you have any character preferences, just let me know; I may not be able to make any and all of them fit, but I'll certainly keep them in mind. Huh, going for a wide range of combat eh? Looks like I might actually get to use that melee system I wrote up  :D.

I probably would've taken some points in melee, but my obsession with even numbers (and multiples of four) along with wanting to be decent at something, kinda made getting all the skills I wanted difficult. :P
I have no idea what kindof character I'm really going for. Some sort of vagabond, driven mad by the chaos and suffering in the world, questing futilely across the wastes in search of the Sacred Pants?
Yeah, that sounds good. Noble, determined, heroic, if a little unhinged... Ah, who am I kidding; the unarmed points are just there to beat on Drago.
Really, it's up to you, I rather liked the detailed backgrounds everyone else got, so keep up the good work. :)
