Yeah, I think I will just take one TL, to keep up. Then get the mystery prize thing. The min/maxer in me wants to get the dumpstat dual wielding thing, but since I need str now to go Hunter, most of my stats are already nearly there already, and 15TEXP seems like quite a bit just to discount 2 stat points.

So, 55 TEXP currently, -25 for TL8:
TL7: +1 STR, +1 STR Boost Feat

-6 for Mystery Breeder Estate Sale

Should leave me with 24 TEXP. The abandoned starter is tempting, but I'm kinda done trying to train low level mons to just die again. And it won't count as owned anyway.

Also to clarify, the subplot reward set things, are like group unlockables, if I buy one of those I don't actually get anything, it just becomes more likely for that set to be unlocked the next time they get rolled, correct? Doesn't seem worth 6texp AT ALL, since the reward is going to be rolled anyway when the time comes, Just seems like you are making yourself weaker(buy spending level up points) to be picky on stuff we will get anyway.

I'm working at school. I'll output your mystery prize soon.

As for the 6 texp reward lock, most of the prize sets yeild progressively better stuff each time you roll them. Furthermore others reward sets don't work at all until you collect all the parts. It could very well be to your advantage to try and finish up a set quickly.

Well, I've got enough TEXP to take the rejected starter, so I'll bite, Gen 3.

Right. Give me a d3 next time we are on the server.

Haika's Mystery Box contains...
2 Super Potions
2 Homemade Wonder Potions (Completely heals and refreshes the target as if it has been to a Pokemon Center. The potion's strong and fast acting nature leaves the target flinched for 1d4+2 rounds)
4 Pact Balls (Will always fail if thrown at an unwilling Pokemon. When used to catch a friendly and willing Pokemon you may raise one of that Pokemon's base stats by 1d4+2)
1 All Natural Berry Punch Tonic (Give to a Pokemon and select one of it's damage inflicting moves. The move's frequency is lowered by 1 (At will becomes EOT, EOT becomes battle, battle becomes center, cannot be used on center moves). The selected move gains the 'Berry' keyword and its elemental type and damage roll now varies depending on the berry held by the user. Range, target area, additional effects of the move, ect remain unchanged by this Tonic. Rename the move if you wish. Tonics count against a Pokemon's Vitamin limit.)
2 Slow Acting Prenatal Growth Hormone Injections (Give to an egg. The target egg will now take 5 extra days to hatch, but will hatch at level 15)
Pokemon Milking Machine (Used to produce Pokemon milk. X is your Wisdom Modifier. May be used on any female mammal-like Pokemon that has laid an egg within the past X days. Y is 7 minus the target pokemon's weight class. Once you milk a Pokemon, you may not milk it again for Y days. The effects of Pokemon Milk varies from species to species, and will likely require some testing to be fully revealed.)
1 Breeder's Guide to Cooking for Pokemon (When you create a meal item with a Chef Feature that is to be eaten by Pokemon roll 1d100. If you roll under 5 times the number of Pokemon who consumed the meal or item (max 40) gain one spice point. Spice points may be used as TEXP, but may never be spent towards trainer levels.)

I'm thinking of taking a rejected starter too...

Quote
Its nature is randomly selected from all natures that raise lower its best base stat

What does that mean though?

Ex, I got a Cyndaquil, it's highest stat is speed. Would I roll the 10 natures to raise/lower SPD, or just the 5 that would lower it?

Sorry for the typo. Just the 5 that lower it.

Minor error Kuji. I gave range 28 gym TEXP. Not 25. She lucked out big time and took the first two fights of a three round match... I guess you can list the extra 3 as being the Ft. Cidney gym MVP.

Also, Haika still has another live Tynamo. So it shouldn't be marked dead on Range's list.

Ah, okay.

For my point expenditure, I'll take a level up for 17 texp, and take an abandoned starter from Gen II.

Should leave me with !!2!! points.

Level-up!

Gerome Blue rises to Lv. 8!

Stat: +1 INT
Feat: Game Plan +

Next session Friday, correct?

Tonight is better than Friday, but I could do either or both.

The Proficiency feat is called Weapon of Choice now, and you have to pick a specific type of weapon, not just 'Blunt'. Check out the arms features page on the wiki.

With your luck your gonna roll two redundant gen 2 water starters.

D never follows the updates. I'm now sure of it. -_-;

Purchases logged. I only logged one rejected starter, as that can only be taken once.

Haika, you have 27 TEXP, enough to gain you a TL-up.

Hmm, according to the new rules I can't use my WIS to power melee attacks anymore?

Lame.

Editing my level up.
