These comments are not on topic, you all need to stop lighting trolls on fire and post some "Bitch Please" pictures.

On topic: @Frogwarrior - Loved the Forgotten Beast overkill strategy, I take it the hallway eventually passes through your barracks, so how do you prevent that hallway from becoming a magma pipe to your barracks?

Also- HugoLuman, what is happening in AussieGuy's picture in the OP?  All I see is a clown themed checkers game.

Nothing like a bit of sexism in the morning.

Bay12: Genocide? Child abuse? Unethical science? Its cool. Sexism? No dude, just no.

On topic: I've not had one time when a thrown piece of dirt makes something explode without me saying "Bitch please," or something along those lines.

The fortress end of the hallway seals via drawbridge when the door is broken down (magma-triggered pressure plate) so that isn't a danger (the hallway is WAY long and twisty enough that there's no way the magma will get there before the door seals). Also, I do not directly connect the fortress end to any important parts of the fortress; if they have ANY path, no matter how long, they'll take it.

Also, talking of setting trolls on fire.... How about a video?

From my 2010 fort. Watch from 0:45 to 1:15; the bits before that are showing the plumbing and the bits after are some other hopeful trolls being ambushed by several dozen war dogs, war leopards, etc.
Sieges became fairly boring in that fort, apart from the natural not-boringness of half the map becoming a magma-covered wasteland several times a year.

So I was out for lunch today and the waitress took our orders.  Things were taking a little while, so I saw her passing by and say "Bitch, please can you check on our food."

I got thrown out :<

This comes from a female, btw:

It's an internet meme.  You can find it over on Memebase.  Let's not get our gender-neutral undergarments in a wad over this :P

The word was changed from "whore" to "whiny nag" 40 years ago.  Unfortunately for me when I called my mother one, she was born 40 years before that time.   :P

And unfortunately for my ability to contribute on-topic, I'm no longer a subscribing member of popular culture.  I'm even older now than she was then.   ;D

*gets back on topic*

I went into a cave with my longest lived adventurer (was planning to retire, but the town i liked was pwned by goblins when i got back) to kill a dragon, and as i run into the main chaimber, my first companion (she has skills in swimming), who was a lasher by the way, Zipped in, ran through the fire, and insta-killed the dragon with her lightsaber, um, i mean whip.
