Whenever I try to make a new world, it crashes on accepting it. This is a problem, because I'd like to test out my new giant dwarves (5X taller than the average human.)

Does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone know the solution?

It was happening before I did that, actually.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to bump this. I feel kind of empty inside every time I do.

How big was the world? Doing anything with a medium-or-larger world is a crapshoot right now because of the 32-bit integer limit.

It was large, but going medium doesn't work either.

What about small? Also, world-gen seems to be cooperating with me much more in 0.34.05.

Well, none of the fixes proposed there have worked for me, and I'm itching to play again. Have any solutions been found?
EDIT: Actually, it works fine when it's in the downloads directory. Strange, because I tried that before and it didn't work.
