Played around a bit with it. Game seems rather... empty.

Visited a bunch of other sectors and landed on dozens of planets, but they're all pretty much nothing there. A few useless shops that sell random items (like flowers and crap) for millions of credits, but very rarely anything else. Only seen two trade centers so far. And there doesn't seem to be a listing of planets with info about them anywhere - how are you supposed to know where to go to trade? Randomly fly around to hundreds of empty planets and wander their long, empty corridors looking for a secret access to a trade center or something useful?

Seems like all there is to do in the game is a couple boring activities like salvaging scrap and asteroids. For a game that's supposedly been around for years, how do they not have a lot more content?

You can ask around in the Comms channels. Playing the game alone won't get you very far (it gets to be a pain to get points), and will be mighty boring.

There are plenty of things to do, a list is in HELP ACTIVITIES. Although the game can get a bit repetitive, a lot of people focus on the combat, and roleplay is always great too.

Not sure if this is considered metagaming but im now running atmospheric salvaging er...trips from outreach, if people want to make some money and points. Bearing in mind that i can only take on 4 people at a time though.

That would be metagaming. Anything that you do in-character using out-of-character information is metagaming, you have to learn about it through the in-game comms (either the general or private links)!

I can't stand the Flight Scanner, so spammy.
Turn it on when I am following people, though.

Still plenty of events going on, last night there was another Praelor invasion, and some other stuff happened earlier this week too.

Signed up as Llywelyn Mathrafal and did the started guide up to where I returned to Outreach sector. Ship ran out of power when I was trying to figure out which station to dock to  ::)

I found your ship floating in space.. You can always just use an escape pod too, or ask on the comms for people to help you!

Am I able to retrieve the ship?

You ejected in Sector 30. Just ask (POLITELY) via TR 1 someone to bring it in for you.
Also, to dock in 30 you M OUTREACH, then say YES when prompted.
