I'd suggest we continue with military progress by creating tesla coils ,for surface defense.Giant tesla coils at it

We can fry airborn and ground enemy units with those.I do not know if those could work in space.If they could i say we build them in space too

True but could they be directed or would they just fry a bunch of geese and stuff. Plus climate might be a problem. I can't answer the space question. I don't know how they would react.

Of course it can be directed.Our highly advanced targeting systems are more than enough for the coils to fry things up.Also seeing as the coils generate and use eletricity they can also work as powerplants,and keep themselves working trough different climates.

The targetting systems aren't the problem. The fact is it uses electricity which is much more inclined to shock the shit out of a duck than a plane with a .001 inch thick coating of rubber in the paint or a person wearing clothing that isn't wet.

The thing is the explosion would also heat the target to extreme temperature.

Like emps? A nuke acts as an EMP. If we used one of our nukes in the upper atmosphere or stratosphere it would fry any electrical grids for like miles. Although it would have to be built differently than our regular boomers or nukilites.

You could call it a cheaper EMP that tends to fry the shit out of things and almost melt them.
