So my armorsmith gets a strange mood while my fortress is under siege, and all my dorfs are burrowed away in the panic room.  Being busy with the siege I forget all about him until, shortly after the siege ends and I let my civilians out of the panic room, I get "Urist McNutjob has begun a mysterious construction!".  The forge was outside the burrow, so it would appear he got a bit overexcited with gathering supplies.



I only wish this had been a weapon, but as shoes go it's pretty epic.

As said, it's the well known Planepacked bug - but well, that's a LOT of gold.

1641600 dwarf bucks.  This is a terrible bug, but I love it.  I knew the bug occurred with forbidden items, didn't realise burrows triggered it too, though!

Forbidding the top material is the bug that makes artifacts iron. Mess it up and you just make the Dwarf berserk :P

Yep, but that wealth is disappointing - I've had normal artifacts worth more - and had a siege arrive almost instantly after that too!
