Decided to do something new.
This is an old, dusty tome. When flipping the pages, you smell old, dusty paper. It seems to be the diary of a Dwarf known as Ombok Honorshields.

Dear diary,
Today I got accepted into the Circle. It's a great honor to be part of the great Technomancer Initiative. We're the ones creating new technology! I mean, have you ever heard about a "repeating crossbow"? Well, I hadn't either, but then I became an apprentice with these people. They're mages, using technology in their spells. It goes pretty far. We've managed to create a human-golem hybrid, but that's only in the testing stages. I'm more interested in the warfare than in the daily, trivial use of it. But, we need that part too, because it's the reason so many merchant guilds decided to sponsor us. Anyway, that's all for today, I'll write down more tomorrow.

Dear diary,
I know I haven't written for a while, but I became the apprentice of the Arch-Magus himself, no one else than Catten Whippedveins! He seems to be working furiously on the current golem-human hybrid project, and I'm helping him on it. We recently had a breakthrough, finding out that only Dwarves can be used, which is a real bummer. However, we also found out that while only Dwarves can be used, a new "person" will be created as a golem, and it isn't some cross-over between the two either. An entirely new person, do you have any idea what that means for science? It means we can create life! Well, of a sort. Let's just hope for the best now.

Dear diary,
The Arch-Magus has passed away. I'm declared the new Arch-Magus, as I am was his apprentice. I ordered an investigation on his death, and it turns out he tried to turn himself into a golem. Well, it seems that it went wrong. We've studied the Magic Orb Recordings of the Experiment, and it seemed you need two persons, or a very powerful mage to perform the experiment. Preferably both.

Dear Diary,
We finally figured out how to effectively transform a Dwarf and a Golem as one, and the result is ASTONISHING, at the very least! We had two "Warrior" golems, which immediately turned one of their arms into a weapon, one of them into a shield and marched towards the Barracks. We've had a "Crafter" golem, which went straight toward the Workshops and started working, we've had a "Smith" one, which started smithing, and you can go on for a bit. We've made ten prototypes, and they seem to be functioning well. They're nigh indestructible, and have a fair resistance to magic.
What seems to be strange is that what the half-golems seem to become is what the Dwarves could do best when they were alive... I should investigate on this more.

Dear Diary,
We had a two visitors today, one of a company known as "Ballpoint" and one of a company known as "Parasol". They want us to stop the Golem project. They wore strange suits, had strange weapons, basically everything was strange about them. Even how they came was strange. I mean, I can imagine a metal cart, with some mechanisms and some water that can move on it's own after being primed... But one of those that could fly? That was beyond even my imagination. I've asked them for some time to think about it, and ordered the Golem F.U.S.I.O.N. project to kick off. All employees are forced to become golems, even me. I'll go last, as I'm the most powerful sorcerer. I wonder what will come out of the sorcerer-golem combo. I hope it won't be bad.

Dear Diary,
We're now officially under attack.
Ballpoint and Parasol must've had spies, as they've recently attacked us with those strange weapons of them. The golems seem to be immune to them though, which is an advantage. Our troops got decimated, but the ten Warrior-golems we had held off quite well, as well as the Crafter-, Smith-, Carpenter- and Miner-golems. Their instruments seemed to be quite capable of holding off the invaders. Me and some others managed to escape through a small tunnel in my office, built specially for this. There are around 11 of us, me included. Among them is my apprentice, Tomio. I hope we make it, if it's only for his sake. He's a half-golem, fused with my old mentor. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm certain he'll know soon.
The diary goes on, but you are too tired to read right now... You close your eyes for a bit, and soon you're sleeping.
