For the research group.
I think it's better to do suggestions in the main thread but moving the discussions might not be a bad idea.

Dragon the nuclear weapons are of two types.Missiles and satellites that shoot X-rays and using germanium crystals to focus said rays.
Also kamikaze probes that carry dangerous chemical bombs.
FYI the satealites work like bombs. when you blow them up they don't exist anymore, beyond scrap. You need to blow up a nuke to get x-rays at that level. They need to be in large amounts if you wnted to use them often or heavily.

Also we can't really make nukes until we have nuclear fuel, ie. U238 or another possible fuel maybe but none come to mind. We would need to mine the unprocessed fuel. Process it which is energy intensive and takes years (at our tech level IRL) to get usable high yeild, military grade fuel (when using U238). By the way the most common process at the moment is this if anyone is interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enriched_uranium I think we use ALVIS in real life.

Points at radioactive planet.
As for robot radiation protection, a powerfull magnetic field 'll do.

Okay...
>Design several virii (plural of virus) in advance, in such way that immunity to one is vulnerability to others. release one as soon as the previous go ineficient.

>Quickly enhance outpost's living condition, with big "open" spaces with lotsa greenery.

>follow the others on put-some-plankton on Aries.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

I think the Algae management plan has enough failsafes, but i'll add this one.

Seems like we have a problem with the subnets.
Also I can't add the Failsafe. The maker of the collection post has to do that.

The thing that caused the Roswell incident was  Project Mogul.

It was a heavily modified weather balloon, partly made by a toy factory and was designed to check if the Russians were testing nuclear weapons( That's where the secrecy came from).
They used the Aliens did it excuse several times for other experimental planes though.
Wikipedia link

Btw, the Blackbirds, build in 1964, could travel faster then 3 times the speed of sound.

My bad, I meant continued the Roswell incident. The thing was tested at Area 51 around the sam time (a couple of years after maybe). Crazy super planes isn't a good way to follow telling everyone that there aren't any aliens.

Well actually they rather wanted to let the people think those things were aliens. Prevents them from making up other theories that might be closer to reality.
