>Check air composition of Aries.
>plan a better infrastructure for the colony
>Check if the databank has some human media like music or films
>If yes, hand out copies of them to humans
> Decipher light signs, or try to find a pattern in it, find out whether it is comparable to the human morse code.
> continue to monitor the signals coming from the gas giant, in case of any objects being fired upon the colony...

>Algae management plan v0.1

Stage 1: Reduction
- Build orbital lens to thin and control algae population.
- Set up refineries and gatherers for algae. Have them make biofuels and plastic. To spare on fuel these thing should remain in the atmosphere rather then in orbit.( Balloons and such)
- Develop flawed algae to weaken Pop( Only deploy if orbital lens containment fails)
- Modify fish to eat Algae( Alien fish, and preferably unreproducctive) Only deploy if the flawed algae fail
- Continue Virus work. Only deploy if all else fails

Stage 2: Control
- Factories begin construction off bioplastic walls.
- Expand industrial activity
- Orbital lens controls pop.
- Develop flawed algae to weaken Pop( Only deploy if orbital lens containment fails)
- Modify fish to eat Algae( Alien fish, and preferably unreproducctive) Only deploy if the flawed algae fail
- Continue Virus work. Only deploy if all else fails

Stage 3: COntainment and use
- Expand Factories.
- Prepare fish to be released when walls fail.
- Laser takes care of outside the fence populations, aided by flawed algea, fish and virusses( That order)

Stage 4a: Lockdown
-Maintain walls. ( Eventually modify them to be Coral like in structure, so that they repair themselves and grow stronger over time)

Stage 4b: Shepherding
-Industry size reaches sufficiently high level.
-Algae gatherers keep population in check
-Reutilise walls to contain small back-up populations in case of catastrophal pop collapse.
I like the idea of making the walls that keep the algae in check from the algaes self

>Make defence systems for colony
>Make several nuclear warheads
>Create a weapon design. It should be light, energy based and durable.

10ebber10. Please include the outcome of the industry growing to a size that the walls are no longer needed. This suggestion no longer pertains to my coding. I will cease suggestion. Suggestions on topic ceased.

ALgae management plan modified. I added a new option in the fourth stage. DIscussion about which action is needed will be done when that point is reached.

First thing first. Researchers should come up with things for everyone else to use based on what is needed.
Second. Based on what we have or will have, everyone else uses it for what they need to do/fix.
third. If you dont think that will help, then eather
a. screw yourself.
b. consult among your group what will be needed [preferably through pm's to prevent clutter and confusion] and then come together with a plan of action to be given to the research team or the formatting team to consider.
Yup, just state what you want to do and someone will come up with a more or less plausible tech to back it up.
As for possible dangerous Aliens species, radiation tends to kill a lot of things, and should be the way to go. Just make sure our robots are armoured against that sort of stuff.

Also, some more projects for you guys to mess around with.
Magnetical field generators. Should be pretty standard tech. Shields humans and electronics against radiation. We should have this one already.
So we turn those up a notch and then we get a ship that manages to contain all radiotion within itself.
Pro's
-Invisible( Just maybe a minor distortion)
- Ability to turn invisibility on and off
- More or less portable( Ie the camo effect is not part of the hull or design of the ship)
Contra
-No heat emmisions( Ie cooling) when the field is turned on. ( Heatsinks needed)
-Large energy use
-When the field is on we can't detect anyone else either.

Concering the code. Don't look for morse, look for mathimatical patterns. Math never changes, languages do.

Dragon the nuclear weapons are of two types.Missiles and satellites that shoot X-rays and using germanium crystals to focus said rays.
Also kamikaze probes that carry dangerous chemical bombs.

Note for the colony, I think we should move to the next terraforming stage ie life outside the domes.

Terraforming plan v 0.1
Seed the surface with cyanobacteria and others. This should create a stable and safe microecology.
Continue adding species as the air improves. ( Really, some trees can survive in absurdly low oxygen levels).

Also we might want to use the oxygen rich soil and the fossilized carbon deposits( ak oil and such)

I find it wonderfull that despite all the opportunities we had, we still haven't blown up ourselves completly.

In game: Don't worry about breaking  laws and such, we already did that and it ended up well. Looks at ALgae, I mean it didn't end in a complete disaster).

Cyanobacteria will probably survive no matter what. Though I'll doubt we'll need to plant them if we're already in excess of oxygen.
Well, anyway, we can always build some fossil fuel plants to even it out. I think that at the moment we don't have the trouble of an bad atmosphere but that this planet seems to lack any good kind of atmosphere.

FYI the satealites work like bombs. when you blow them up they don't exist anymore, beyond scrap. You need to blow up a nuke to get x-rays at that level. They need to be in large amounts if you wnted to use them often or heavily.

Also we can't really make nukes until we have nuclear fuel, ie. U238 or another possible fuel maybe but none come to mind. We would need to mine the unprocessed fuel. Process it which is energy intensive and takes years (at our tech level IRL) to get usable high yeild, military grade fuel (when using U238). By the way the most common process at the moment is this if anyone is interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enriched_uranium I think we use ALVIS in real life.
