>Consult the scientist on the possibility of using the solar lense to eradicate the algae and plankton.

Haha lasers work by focusing beams. You would only be able to kill a very small amount with a focused laser or focus a large column of light on photosynths that thrive in warm climates. Then again I don't know the abilities of the untested photo lense so I speak only speculatively.

Well our laser is capable of keeping an ocean fluid in a Mars like climate so I think it will be able to overheat the algae if focused properly. The only problem might be that the Ocean planet has a much denser atmosphere.

If it makes anyone feel better, I came up with this. I am thinking up some rules so that there isnt a war between assignments but sugestions can be made for assignments outside of your own.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

in alien ecosystem.

An ecologist would cry.

We did modify it.( a bit)

Then again we seem to have gotten an Carbon based ecosystem, which is pretty rare.

Question to be asked.
Does the alien system work with DNA and RNA and such. If not, dump all virusses we have there, they won't be able to infect anything else then Algae.
How is the Algae infestation effecting the planets climate.
How does that planets climate work anyway, since everything seems to be oceans I guess a very boring and monotome climate.

Solution to ALgae problem:
-Space laser
-New virus
-Take some of the algae and damage their DNa/ reproductive systems in such a way that they can still reproduce but that any offspring will have severe birth defecits. This might  damage the immunity and overall health of the population

Yes, we did modify it... To be worse.

NEW solution! Make Nanobots and program them to destroy everything with the specific DNA-Profile of earths algae and plankton. Let them destroy themselves, after they have done the job.
