Wait a minute, you mean that Dwarves are so powerful that they're actually half-demonic, and are capable of reaching past the supernatural barrier of the Corporeal and Incorporeal existences, JUST to try and murder a ghost for his non-existent bones, with which to make Lithusskud, the Boats of Robustness, a Vampire-Bone Kilt?
Dwarven magic at its finest!
By the way is it possible to make planepacked fell artifact?

...I'm not sure anyone has asked this question before. I shudder to think what that might do to a fortress.

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.

Remove it of all those pesky, no-good nobles?

The dwarf bones are actually the last ingredient gathered so it may work.

I'm having the same problem right now. He just killed one of my Swordmasters, and he killed one of my Hammerlords and a legendary miner earlier.

My slab engraving list is much too long to narrow it down.

Something similar happened with me but, instead a vampire it was a necromancer.

That is why I think ice is better than magma or atom smashers. After freezing the victim you can mine the ice block to retrieve the body to make a proper burial.

I love glaciers.

Welcome to the mad, mad world of RAW errors or duplication. Somewhere you have files which dont quite add up, and crazy shit happens(..) There are instances of this where you can adventure as a fly, or embark with wagonmeat, wearing shoes made of burning soap(..)

DF is so awesome that it doesnt just crash, it crates batshit crazy worlds where intelligent chairs farm dragons and make houses out of thier toenails.
