Scout Team: Scout north
15 soldiers, 5 guns

Guards: Garrison the perimeter of the base.
15 soldiers, 5 guns

Salvage team: Loot the Scrap Heaps.
25 scientists
Us

Construction team: Repair the gates, and the watchtowers if they get done the gates.
12 builders

Engineering team: Make three simple wagons for water collection. Make a rabbit hutch. After that, make up to 30 simple swords.
12 engineers

Farmers:
Domesticate rabbits.
2 plots of vegetables that grow in two weeks and require little water.
1 plot of grain that grows in a month and requires little water.

For now, water collection should be done by five guards, taking two guns and three wagons during broad daylight.
I think one of the builders should test a small amount of the meat for edibility, building to larger amounts throughout the week.

Your scout team departs towards the North. They come back 1 hour later, carrying 5 of them with them. They were bitten by a snake, which is presumed to be poisonous. You and the scientist continue exavating the scrap heap, but sadly you don't come across anything special. The builders try to repair the gates, and make good progress. There are still some holes in it, but you can still close the door.

The engineering team manages to come up with 3 handdrawn carts. They are fairly rigid and can carry about 75 kg each. Their wheels are almost completly round. They don't have time to make a rabbit cage but they guess it'll take the little rabbits at least 2 weeks before they're fit to leave the rest. They don't have time for the swords either but remark that they would need a forge for that.

The farmers start planting vegetables and grain. They don't find time to domesticate the rabbits, which probably isn't needed anyway as they aren't afraid of humans anyway.

The guards manage to get water without any problems. They got it out of a pool near the edge off the forest. 

The builder who ate the monkey flesh felt sick afterwards, but recovered. You suspect it was just basic food poisoning,

Again, nothing happens.

Water is a critical need! - we could use all our water in 1 week growing food with those numbers!


Vegies: 220 food for 100 water
Grain : 550 food for 200 water *
* indicates higher risk of interruption due to longer growing time


needs : 110 food / week ( 100 + a stockpile) = 50 water per week on vegies, or 30.25 / week on grain ( assuming we can plant exactly the right amount ...)


Therefore:
1) how much water storage do we have?
2) if we are going to support this current crop, we will need lots of water ...


3) some of the scientists searching the secret research lab should look for computer information / records


4) we are going to need some form of power - either heat to shape metal, or electricity to get the fence running ...


5) when the bunker was created, was there any types of maintenance access points past the enterence ... with a clear path for air-flow, you should be able to get 1 or 2 people enough air ...

6) following on from 5) the scientists in the old lab should keep an eye out for portable tanks or technology in general (more than just scrap ...) - scrap is nice, but we aren't going to rebuild civilization from metal scraps.[size=78%] [/size]

Hell if I know.  Pretty humourous suggestion, but utterly useless in the case of roleplaying, if indeed the whole game world was one whole huge ass field of fruit.

Your base was equiped with 2070'era technology. These are just some genetially manipulated seeds.( Made by HW corporation)

For now you have no water storage so you're just keeping it in the carts,which can carry 75 each.

@5) Nope, It's a nuclear bunker, there used to be maintenance entrances but those are sealed by heavy concrete and steel doors.

Here's another question.  Are the soldiers not carrying guns equiped with some kind of melee weapon?  If not, are we going to have to make/find some for them to be at all useful?

They aren't equiped with anything, but they are still usefull. Look at stats(att is modified by weapons). just imagine they're throwing stones or now karate or something.
