That's what I'm suspecting. 2nd generation after conquest could become actual citizens by the looks of things.

And this age is alot less golden when a gardener-necromancer decides it'd be fun to mess with my attack dogs. And kill them. With a parakeet.

Don't remember if it was during a Golden Age or not, but I came across a site in Legends mode that had been taken over by a FB, was rife with kidnappers (of all races) operating from it, and contained all races (even goblins) coexisting/working/selling together. I believe it was a Dark Fortress, but didn't start out that way.

Bizarre.

As this is my thread, I feel i can ask. I am looking for a minimum for four more individuals for a project. If I've garnered your attention, simply PM me for details.

It will be a grand undertaking I'm positive none of us will survive.

My first world in the new version started with two forces, a hydra and the titan. Both were slain by humans, and the world passed into the golden age around the 20th year. It lasted about 50 years, and then it passed into the age of dwarves. There were no elven civilizations.

It's nice to see other things than the dull Age of myth all the time in the new version.

Hmm. Majority of nonhumans in cities are merchants, just noticed that. Kinda understandable.

Had elves pushing sunberries
Dwarves trying to sell cave croc meat
Foreign humans selling silver barbs

The first world I ever genned, which was in 31.25, started in and dropped me in the middle of The Golden Age. But it sounds like everything is more variable in terms of world evolution with the revamping Toady's done to historical figures and civilizations.

I have an idea. Let's play a game where you win by being as quiet as possible.
I get it, it's one of those games where losing is fun!
I spend most of your dimension's time outside of your dimension. I can't guarantee followup or followthrough on any comments, ideas, or plans.

Seems possible to find battlefields while roaming around too.
