I have 100k gold, what do I do?

Simply put, I've got a lot of gold. What should I do with it?

Giant golden beer mug mega project construction?  You could even use a mix of silver and platinum for the foam.

It is said knowledge is like a foul-smelling herb. It must be cooked well and thoroughly with experience to make it palatable. A young scholar's knowledge is therefore not only worthless but disgusting. -- In Dwarf Fortress you have another paradigm. Gather as much of that smelly herb as you can and toss it at your enemy, fracturing his skull through the +capybara man leather cap+.

When I had an embark like this, I made the whole town from gold. Gold walls, gold floors, gold doors...

Of course, I also had a volcano, which made it really easy to do.

EDIT:
Not to try and topic jack... but I wonder if roughly 18,000 bauxite is enough to use in an aboveground town or not. I want to say it is... thoughts?

Depends on your design. However, it's easy to see that one level of 10x10 square tower only takes 100 bauxite.
