Embark Anywhere, and take over a town.

Just as well, gain a bit of understanding of the new version so I can lay the groundwork for my next airship production.

I'll look at the new bugs, get angry, and will come here to complain a lot. Like many others, I guess.

Not really. I think I will play adventure mode up until I have three or four retired adventurers (one of them a conqueror of a human town with his follower army) and then I will play a fortress.

I'm going to do the same thing I do every release: try to take over the world make a fort in the middle of nowhere, usually icy region (prefferably with a dead parent civilization so I don't get those annoying immigrants but still get new dwarves via births occasionally) and try to make the most excessively grandiose, over-engineered and elegant fortress I can. Think mount Gundabad, but with less orcs. Bugger adventurer mode, that's not really my thing. I like making stuff.

I'm going to make dragons playable then slaughter all the humans. Because dragons need some love too.

Gen world. Embark wherever the cursor lands first and do a play now embark. Then just mess around with the new features, I guess.

Ideally, weaponise contagious interactions. Modding or not.

"Squad W: strip, disarm, and report to bio-containment room C. Ignore Spike the Werewolf in the corner... He is too badly hurt to kill you... Get his food bowl and bring it back. After that you are confined to bio-containment room B until further notice. We don't want a repeat of the VampGoblin incident..."

It's a toss-up between seeding the world with some dwarven adventurers to immigrate to my fortress (including, hopefully, a were/vampire abomination against nature,) or making a fortress to provide my adventurers with the equipment they'll need to accomplish that task. It'll probably depend on my mood that day.

RE: Release Estimate- Somewhere between a week from now and February, from the guesses I've seen.
