Well you can't build all the houses at once I don't think because there aren't enough people, so have a stone HQ, wood stockpiles and workshops, finally make the housing wooden but gradually, also the wagons could build the stockpiles once everythings sadfe, and just try to get a few other bits like clay but don't go full on with it, focus on building better buildings, and move the campsite to the east 'cos its not permant yet and you'll be closer to evrything you need

Mini-mini update :D
9th September 1072
Spoiler: Zoomed in map (click to show/hide)

The gnome has given Navek a lot to think about and so he begins to ask his last few questions.

“So these orcs, are they same ones that attacked us?”
“Ah so you’s all bee refugee’s then, well all dem orcs and goblins united now so they gotta be the same. I mean unless there some other bunch we don’ know abou’, they's nowhere near here though, I be thinkin’ your safe - but I not too sure. Is that everythin' you want then?”
“Just two more questions, firstly what exactly does the king want to help fight them?”
“Eh, jus’ whatever ye can give: stone to build ‘is walls, weapons for ‘is troops, you be gettin’ the idea he’ll prob’lly be a bit more specific though, so what’s ya other thin’ troubling you’s”
“How the hells I meant to make a portal?”
“Well don’ ask me I though’ someone roun’ ‘ere could do it. Ack, tell you what, if you get me the clay, I’ll teleport home and get the king to send a better walker than you through to do tha’ portal for ye all they'll, bear in mind though be needin' you to give all the materials for it”

As the Gnome leaves the tent Navek ponders his next course of action.

Also people I'm going to start making site maps showing where all the uildings and stuff are semi-zoomed in

7th October 1072

Navek & Brie (Casting summon food 4 times) - 51
Golems (Gather clay) - 97
16 Gatherers (Tend Farms) - 27
16 Gatherers (Mine Stone) - 19
29 Gatherers + 20 Soldiers (Chop Wood) - 89 (+60, I forgot about the sawmill built on the 20th June) 149
3 Crafters (Build Stone Building) - 83
8 Crafters + 8 Peasants (Build Wood Buildings) - 29
4 Crafters (Build Boats) - 7
15 Scouts (Move camp and deconstruct a few tents) - 43
Additional Event - 37
Additional Event (Golems level up) - 71
Additional Event - 52

Navek decides the walkers should try and handle most of the food for this month, and so sends the two golems into the clay pit to gather clay for summoning food which goes well, whilst in their the two golems play and sculpt spare clay into funny statues of their masters which they play puppets with before dropping them.

The success summoning food was much needed however due to a poor harvest; likewise mining stone also went badly. This almost lead to the new headquarters not being built, though thanks to efficient building methods 2 stone was shaved of the amount of resources needed for construction.

Chopping and gathering wood had ground breaking results, a massive tree several times larger than a golem had fallen in the forest, rather than cut down new trees the soldiers and some gatherers just hauled back the massive catch.

The lodges were also built rather shabbily but at least the job got done and as for the boats, rather than reaching the goal of 6 boats the crafters only managed to make 4 - one each, when testing them out on the open ocean and one of them even capsized! Luckily the crafter wasn’t injured though the boat was smashed apart wasting wood. Also moving the camp goes smoothly.

Well there you go, don’t suppose you could give me some feedback on the site maps, it’ll mean updates take a little longer, but you get the map and also can I have some feedback on rolls, should I keep showing them or hide them? Or put them in a spoiler? Finally what would you like to be done next?
