What trains street sense now anyways? I've had the damnedest time finding anyone with the skill, and I've been through droves of gang members and pros in my last couple games. I know the skill is kind of randomly selected, but I feel like many of those guys should have Street Sense 1.00 more often than not.

Street sense is trained by illegal fundraising activities prostitution and brownie sales, and street sense also reduces risks of both. Turns out graffiti is similar as well. Also, if I understood this correctly, you can train it by stealing cars even if you mosey out right after the vehicle selection! Since these activities are almost all the uses of Street sense, any Liberal doing activities needing it will get it - learn by doing...

Gah but the risk is inherent in training the skill, and even firearms don't have that disadvantage anymore. Plenty of mooks start with basic firearms knowledge, but SS it seems like no one starts with any. Being that it's a pivotal trouble avoidance skill, I understand the reason for that, but I feel like there should be at least some chance to find a person with the skill that can help you train it up. It can be done with basically every other skill.

I mean, I figure it's in there for selection now, maybe just weight it a little higher, specifically with some professions. Unless the LCS world is populated by tons of first time hookers

Alright, I'll add street sense to some NPCs that would deserve it but don't currently have it at all.

Sorry, but I don't believe you. I see nothing in the code that makes CCFraud train street sense. Are you sure it was the CCFraud, not something else?

I'm pretty sure as in that game that was the only illegal activity I was doing. I had no hackers, no prositution and no drug dealers or anything else, just a CCFraud team at another safehouse. I was using CCfraud because of advice here that you can't be arrested while running CCfraud.

I had this guy get up to 7.5 Street sense, then brought him back to the main safehouse to train everyone else.

EDIT: Ran a test and it's not working, I guess I WAS mistaken on what crimes they were running, sorry :/ Must've been prostitutes after all.

I wouldn't be surprised if Street sense has surprise training code elsewhere as well, though. There are many nice surprises, all there in the source! (even the historical relic, DOS Racket, is mentioned a few times)
