She's fiercer than a pissed off honey badger
« on: May 08, 2011, 07:21:57 pm »

I'm under seige. This goblin came with them.

I assume form the title she's someone important. My meager cave traps are already exhausted, and my military is poorly equipped. However, I want to kill her. What happens if I do? Does the goblin civ fall into disarray?

The fact that she's arrived means she can no longer tame exotic creatures for her civilization. If she dies, goblins will never be able to use mounts during sieges ever again, and if she escapes, the exact same thing happens due to the "new liaison every year" bug.

Whether she lives or dies, the goblins will keep attacking just as much as ever.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Nothing is fiercer or more dangerous than a honey badger!
This thread is silly!

On topic, I did kill a law giver in a siege once, and they decided to KEEP COMING FOREVER, so it probably won't do anything.

Capture her, STARVE her to death!
No wait, shoot her in the head and bury her at sea so no one will ever see the corpse!

O.o

But they won't bring mounts without their general, right? That means no more need to be scared of flying and hopping goblins.

But than her civ won't bring planes when sieging...

Is there any way to deduce what different classes of leaders do? What do elven priestesses for example? Or goblin masters? If goblin general teach beasts to fight, these other leaders must have other functions as well. I suppose.

Well, as I said, I killed the law-giver.
In such a circumstance that the goblins had no laws, MAYBE THEY'D SIEGE SOMEONE ELSE FOR A CHANGE.

Law 1 of being a goblin, and Toady will agree with me, is siege, siege, and siege, as many dwarves as possible.
