I just have to post my awesome steel shield of awesomeness here.

After my first armorer in her strange mood insisted on making a lead gauntlet,
my second moody armorer made my this

This object menaces with spikes of sunstone and prase opal.
On the item is an image of Kubuk Grippeddanger the deity of war and fortresses depicted as a female dwarf in steel

Now I am waiting for the next goblin horde to arrive, so my commander can baptise it in goblin blood.
