is it wierd to eat the peanut shells on peanuts? becuase instead os taking the shell off, i usually stick the whole thing in my mouth and eat it.

"When roasting peanuts, the toxicity of aflatoxin B1 is reduced by 70%, and that of aflatoxin B2 by 45%. Thus, heat treatment cannot be considered as a satisfactory means to eliminate mycotoxins."

Evidently, peanut shells are pretty good at accumulating fungal toxins. Is this significant? I have no idea. They aren't really intended for human consumption, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't held to reliable standards for it in the slightest.

The fungal toxins found in/around peanuts are kind of known for their tendency to cause cancer--enough that people in Thailand stopped eating them as frequently.

So, given what G-Flex said, I'd probably try to stop.

Hmm, get some pork fat, fry it in butter 'till crispy.

Replace all instances of bacon in your diet with this, VERY high energy content.

Dang it!

Is there anything good and true left in this world? Why is everything trying to kill us?

Oh, it's not that they're trying to kill you; it's that it's just so easy to do.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

People are as resilient as they are frail. Not as easy to kill someone (with everyday food) as you might think.
