I love how:

One guy does it: We deride him with scorn.
Another guy does it: We joke around and have fun.
Pah, please. The first guy openly admitted that his predictions weren't important, whereas OP said that he can predict (or in some alternative interpretations, cause) earthquakes. Of course we are going to appease him

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

Fuck no!  Some guy in Italy tried that kind of thing.  He told authorities that an earthquake was SUPER IMMINENT NOW and they evacuated a city for a day, and nothing happened.  Then a couple days later the earthquake happened and a ton of people died.  And then they got pissed and almost threw him in jail or something because...I don't even know why.

EDIT:  No wait, they almost threw him in jail for continuing to tell people DUDES, EARTHQUAKE COMING and causing a public panic.  Except of course that he turned out to be right.  Mind, this guy was a scientist and he did use scientific methods.

I think it is more because the first guy acted like he it was cool or not deja vu.

He did not realize the importance of buy loads of spandex, learning needling skill and a acting course.

You will succeed where he failed.

Wouldn't it be funnmy as hell if a brand new volcano suddenly appeared in the middle of Los Angeles ? Ok, funny to everyone apart from the people who lived there, but they don't matter today. I can imagine a huge magma belching mountain rising above endless miles of suburbia. That would look great.

I have had like 4 Premonition-dreams in my life. Clearly if I dream something good enough I make it become reality.

Now if only I could lucid dream, THE COMBINATION WOULD BE ME BECOMING KING OF JUPITER.

Time to test the limits of your power. I suggest giving volcanos legs and sentience.

Um, look around a little, I don't see anyone else clamoring for the title.

RILDER, KING OF JUPITER

That is you forevermore.
