make a reaction that takes anything and turns it into a leather vest.
that and a reaction that makes a flamable glove/hammer that should be heavy/strong enough that a hit can launch the opponent. the boiling should be adding to the flair of the attack.

I assume you would throw something small at it to stun it, and then pick it up.

Well, the most basic thing is that you don't actually look for them...I've found some fairies, monarch butteflies, dragonflies and a Bluejay(?) from just randomly walking around (And so far, I've yet to find a wambler). Actually found a lot of individual fairies flying around some destroyed forest town...it almost seemed like it was like some magical ruins, looked nice with all the glowing things floating around.

But I also especially modified fairies to be like flies...they swarm in large groups & get disturbed at times even.

And throwing stuff at them even as a legendary seems ineffective...you'll miss and they'll just point anf laugh at you. Oh, no...It's Dorfy Highschool all over again!

this is what I got now so far it doesn't really kill stuff if I can figure out how to get the syndrome too boil, that and the punch like the one in ssb stupid slow and any one can dodge out of it and punish you(if you use this as a human and fail to punch you end up 'dead') carrying it will drop you down to 99 speed with any race even the bronze colossus.
