Wow. It's currently 6:23 AM and I have neglected sleep for the past day (two days? I don't know. . . Time has gotten. . . fuzzy). I have missed one midterm exam, without a chance to make it up (But don't worry about me, I've resolved that issue in other ways). I have another Midterm Exam in Statistics in about five hours. And again, I haven't slept or studied. I did have to stop after the first seven hours, as the constant exposure to the digital screen gave me a headache.
I am grateful.
I am grateful to have completed the trek through this forum. The story was rewarding, engrossing, and still, I am eager to hear more.
I am grateful to have a moment's rest while waiting for new updates. This means that it is likely that I'll get my homework done, which, of course, I've been neglecting.
I can not Thank Toady for this game enough, or Captain Mayday for his transcription and dedication to his fortress. I have taken to telling my friends about this, to mixed effects.
I've novelized the exploits of my own fortresses, but for personal use, and never really published. Furthermore, I'm nit-picky and restart frequently.
It was even fun watching the forum and community theorize and pander and quote. It's interesting to see where all the signature quotes come from, after all. . .
Anyway, Thank you to everyone involved. Good night.
