issue with too many rocks

hey guys

i knopw you can vaporize rock by messing with the files, i tried, but i failed..

could anyone give me a better rundown of how to vaporize rocks?

i wanted to vaporize mudstone, olivine, and mica, but couldnt find mudstone in the stone files

any help?

Why would you do away with olivine? it's pretty and green.

why not use them for artillery practice build a catapult and shoot them

For rocks to disappear, you can use catapults, dump them in magma, atomsmash them, quantum stockpile them or -as you tried- edit the raws. Mudstone is found in the inorganic_stone_layer.txt-file (for 31.##) or matgloss_stone_layer.txt (for 41d##).

EDIT: missed the obvious solution, which is to use them for crafts or blocks for a megaconstruction.

Just set the vaporisation point ridiculously low. It will turn that type of stone and everything made out of it into gas. Enjoy.

Add [BOILING_POINT:10000] to the raws for the stones in question.  Then they'll boil at any temperature above freezing.  Lower the number if you need to.
