Pause on Trap Triggered

One of your traps going off is an important enough event to pause and focus.  It would provide a clue as to where the next ambush might be coming from.

Hell no.

Can you imagine what it would be like when you've got an army of goblins marching down your trap-infested corridor?  You wouldn't be able to do anything!

Hi!

How about a middle path - have any trap uncover an ambush party. I mean, right now, a goblin snatcher who gets killed in a trap does not result in an ambush! warning or anything - you simply notice the dwarves carrying around new import designer clothes.

If traps were to uncover ambush parties (just think of the screaming, howling, and cursing), there would be a single pause when the trap initially strikes. But since the ambush party is then uncovered, it will not cause any additional delays.

Or just an option somewhere-

"Traps Triggered Pause game"

Then you can switch it off during siege modes but leave it on normally.
