Unless using the Molten Rocks mod. Which gives more realistic melting/boiling points. This renders alunite magma-safe.

While we don't do too much to discourage it, any questions you have about the game would be better answered in the Gameplay Questions forum.

Also, for getting into the game, I would recommend following this guide:

It should cover all the basics with you. For more specific questions, try this wiki:

Which covers pretty much everything you want to know about DF (and a few things you didn't but might still find a use for).

ooooooooooooooooooooookay... i seem to have modded my dwarves to be superdwarves, and now i want them back. anyone got the regular dwarves?

You could just delete what you added into their file. But heres the original (I think, I mod them too, I may have left something in there).

they are still superdwarves! i want use from he sleeping quarters i built! how do i get them normal?
