Unfortunately, they couldn't immigrate, as immigrants are currently generated right as they enter your map.  Not sure on the other possibilities.

They can, however, seige you if they have a local leader position and they retire in a civ you are at war with.

  • Get a bunch of followers
  • Retire
  • Run a tiny fortress with one super dwarf and no FPS limit
  • For ten years
  • Check legends
  • ???
  • Results

I really wish people would stop fucking doing that and stop trying to be clever despite every moron has done that hundreds of times.

It may not be original, but it is a tradition.

No it isn't, boiling nobles in magma is a tradition. That's just retarded to say.

And if you build the fortress in the human town where you adventurer stay, will he be there? Could you "load" a site with a dozen of multi-legendary warrior so that you don't have to care about defense? (At least until the first gob's bowman)

...under the sphere of duck tape....

Sorry to nit-pick but this really gets my goat I'm afraid.
IT IS DUCT TAPE. NOT DUCK TAPE, THAT'S JUST HOW PEOPLE PRONOUNCE IT.
DUCT. DUCT TAPE. ARRRGH.

They're both right. Duck was a reference to it being waterproof I'm pretty sure.
I don't know, I use gaffer tape.

"Duck Tape is also a brand name for this product in some countries." [Source: Wikipedia]

In the UK it's been branded as Duck Tape (With the corresponding flourescent-yellow duck) [Source: Amazon]

So it's not ALWAYS Duct Tape and anyone who refers to it as Duck Tape may not always be wrong :<
